Personally I didn't think the trimming was terrible...on the Beast that is...yes it slows down...but it quickly regains that speed...So I would disagree there...Son Of Beast I think with the news lighter trains is way rougher than before and I think they will never get it to run properly again.

You know, I honestly think you guys are over-doing it on the MF thing just a tad. I mean, there is a reason it's #2.

As for my answer, in my opinion, I would say Mantis. If you say you like the Mantis, at all, it's over rated.

Most overrated though, Montu IMO. It's a pretty good ride, I'm not saying I don't like it, but I don't see how it's the best invert around...

[B)] Who said it has to be the best Invert around? Montu's an amazingly forceful ride, and there aren't a lot of inverted experiences like that, diving in and out of tunnels and egyptian trenches...Montu's one of a kind.

I completely agree, Montu is a veru forceful and unique ride. I enjoy it a lot every single ride I get on it. :]

As to the most overrated coaster for me it would have to be Fahrenheit. That ride was just a big disappointment for me.

The most overrated coaster I've ridden without a doubt is Top (No) Thrill Dragster. The Mean Streak was much better when it first opened. Now, the only thing it's good for is a concussion. And Millenium Force...yawn.

wow, you just dont like any coasters do you. jk. But seriously i think the only reason Beast is overrated is because its trimmed to death.

I like lots of rides. See here.

I don't like Beast because it's flat, it doesn't do anything. It's not my kind of coaster.

I'm pretty sure Millennium Force was ranked #6 last year, not #2.

I really thought El Toro was really overrated. SROS does the same type of ride experience but much better IMO. Toro's air is just so strong it's almost stupid IMO...especially with how much they staple you...it hurt, and I don't think that's a good thing. I mean it was still pretty crazy, but not as good as everyone said it was. Dash was so much better in every possible way, and Phoenix gives it a run for it's money...that ride does airtime better than any ride I've been on.

yeah, jayman is right. its not worth waiting one hour to ride top thrill or kingda ka. the only time i rode top thrill was when there was only about a 30 minute ride. otherwise its pointless.

People dont ride Kingda Ka expecting a roller coaster thats 3 minutes long. Kingda Ka and Top Thrill Dragster are more thrill rides. They simulate free falling facing the ground, and high speeds. They are an upped version of a drop tower. I love Kingda Ka.

I actually really liked Deja Vu. The vert lifts were great and it was smooth. But I like the Invertigos more as they're a bit more forceful.

Hmm, Well I havn't ridden enough to say EVER, but I will say that Raptor is a tad over-rated. I mean sure it's nice but I don't think it's THAT awesome.

Millennium Force is extremely overrated. I mean, it really is good, it just isn't "godly" like people make it out to be.

I'd like to add Shivering Timbers. I've heard a lot of people like that, and it got a lot of press when it opened.

It's a piece of crap. I don't remember getting that much airtime at all, it was far too long, and it was rough as HELL.

When you hear people rave about Timbers it's usually from it's early years. Thank Cedar Fair's wonderful carpentry staff for how it's running now.

I still think Dragster''s launch is ridiculous as hell, so I don't know how you people get used to that.

i dont see why everyine says MF is bad. that ride is great, tall, fast, airtime. its sweet, its not the best ride, but its not bad at all.

Dude, tall, fast? Why were you just bashing Dragster then? The launch on Dragster kicks the living shiz out of MF's air. I still love MF, but there really is almost no air on it.

Alot of coasters have no air. (mainly B&M loopers/inverts) Nobody thinks those are horrible. Why millenium? The drop and some other things could definately make the ride. But i do agree it shouldnt be near sros at #2.

I'm not talking about the Golden Ticket Awards...they aren't accurate at ALL.

Millennium Force = #4.

All of the rides at CP except for Blue Streak, Magnum, Raptor, Maverick, and Wicked Twister.

Mean Streak is the most over-rated. People say it's crappy all the time, and that would be the ride WITHOUT trim breaks. [:P]
