I love Millennium because I don't only care about ridiculous air and killer positives. It has the best first drop anywhere, without question IMO, good speed and height and good floater air four or five spots. Plus that one headchopper that always makes me put my arms down, haha.

That one's not just about the forces, so just enjoy it! It's still such a fun ride.

How's that even over-rated?? Most people forget that it's even there...and when people do see it, their expressions are like totally scared or excited...people don't really speak about it, but an over-rated coaster at SFMM is probably Scream or Superman. Both great rides but when you ride it once, it is that only one time do you feel excited, after that you just go, "weeee...(no emotion)".
Sometimes you gotta sacrifice a little bit of yourself to get the job done.

^Or enjoy the ride. I personally think that SFMM's most overrated coaster is X2. I mean, come on! Everyones first thoughts upon entering the park are "OMG let's go ride X2!!!", not to mention it IS the first ride you see comming up the road..

I agree about Riddlers (not smartestcoasterkidevers). Nobody seems to remember it is there untill they actually set eyes upon it (or are sitting on a bench atop SFMM wondering what that humming noise is), and even so, they don't really go for it when they see it. Usually, it's BTR or Superman.

The problem with that is that B&M screwed up with Riddler Chang and Mantis. IMO stand-ups aren't supposed to be massive and insanely fast...that's why they make rides like MF and TTD. Stand-ups are supposed to be about the stand-up experience...I wish B&M would make more stand-ups like the Scorcher...because I hear nothing but good about that ride. Not too tall or fast, yet has some twists, turns, loops, and is a different kind of ride.

Also...I'm not sure if this classifies as 'over-rated' because now a days people say nothing but bad about it, but...Pony Express at Knotts. When it first came out people were like, "OH YEAH LETS GO RIDE IT," and "THAT IS LIKE THE BEST RIDE EVER!!!!" but come on...30 seconds of going 2mph...I had more fun on Percy's Railway. But I think Pony Express was more over-promoted than over-rated. I'm not sure which one it counts as, but whatever.
^I never been on Scorcher so I can only trust you that it's different from most stand-ups.
I remember before it got destroyed (thank god)...Flashback!! I don't know why people said it was great, I mean it was fun but if you actually like back pains then I guess Flashback was just your cup of tea. IMO Flashback was probably the few over-rated coasters that deserved it's death. Another coaster is Space Mountain at DL. Cool but again as I said the first time, it's just one of those rides that is fun only the first time.
Sometimes you gotta sacrifice a little bit of yourself to get the job done.

Probably mean streak I have to disagree about TTD the thrill of the launch is unlike anything, I would take that launch over any other element on a coaster.

Riddler's Revenge used to be over-rated (1998 - 2003). Anyone who denies that is wrong. Even when Goliath came out Riddler's would still sport 2+ hour waits. As for Deja Vu, I honestly feel like that ride is UNDER-rated.

Currently an over-rated ride? As much as I really like this ride so much, Expedition Everest is very over-rated. And it's for one reason: The layout. After that 80ft (?) drop it pretty much dies for me.

Uh, what? Chang is awesome, and Mantis is pretty fun too with the exception of the trim which holds it back a bit IMO.

I disagree here, and it's not just 'anti CP' reasoning. While the first drop is impressive to look at, it didn't quite deliver like it could have for me. There are quite a few first drops I hold in much higher regard than MF's.

Both Ninja (SFMM) and Shockwave (SFMM - defunct). There was alot of hype when they were first introduced but after riding them, the feeling was like is that it?

if it is a disney coaster it is overated. if disney has anything to do with it it is overrated. just go see how long their lines are at the park and how dinky the coasters are.

Texas Giant was a bit of a let down. Hype doesn't make it any better.

Yeah, have you happened to ride Expedition Everest yet? I'm pretty sure that ride is no where near "dinky".
Oh, were you expecting something here?

wow, you just dont like any coasters do you. jk. But seriously i think the only reason Beast is overrated is because its trimmed to death.
[/br]

I like lots of rides. See here.

I don't like Beast because it's flat, it doesn't do anything. It's not my kind of coaster.

I agree with quite a few of these, but why did youu dislike Raging bull?

Raging Bulls drop is awesome, granted it would be a ton better without the trims

Size queen. It's not how big it is, it's what you do with it.
Be sure you're not looking in a mirror before you start pointing fingers.
