Sorry but its not going to change anything, even republicans allow abortion, there would be an outcry if abortion was illegal. I don`t support it, but i Don`t think this would change anything.

Here is an idea:

If you are against abortion for whatever reason, then don't practice it after it's legalized and leave everyone else alone so they can live their lives in peace. It'll have the same effect on your life legal than if it was illegal. Same goes for gay marriage. Shutting up benefits everyone because then we don't need to see pictures of bloody babies that were killed in Botswana 1 month before birth and passed as as abortion in the first trimester.

If you don't like it, don't do it. Personally, I think there are a lot of options people should consider before getting an abortion, but if that's what will work best for them, then who's to say they can't? If abortion is made illegal it will still happen, but on a black market basis where women may risk their lives having dangerous surgery done by people that may not be qualified. We need harm reduction, not prohibition (same as the war on drugs IMO).

Edit:

I know I can't say that these people represent the entire "pro-life" movement, but it's I think it's really interesting to see anyway.

When it consists of using the cells of an aborted baby to do your research I am against it. There are no ifs, ands, or butts about it in my eyes. And friend, that is exactly where we are headed. Bet me if abortion is not "medically legalized" within 5 years.

Do you think it would be acceptable if Coasterkidmwm's parents had an abortion so he wouldn't have been here to torment us?

I think perhaps he needs to have his own kids and then call and tell me how easy it would be to "toss the life" away.

I agree with the whole "you do it if you support it" basis. Personally, though, I'd feel much more comfortable if there was a strict evaluation on whether or not the pregnant mother is applicable for the abortion.

However, the time between initial conception and the time when an abortion is no longer plausible/safe is, relatively speaking, short, and there might not be enough time to get thorough report. But something needs to be done about the people who would/will abuse the right to have an abortion, and there needs to be some way of preventing them from doing so because that is simply unethical.

I'm totaly for abortion. Accidents happen, or if a baby has a chromosome malfunction. I'd rather not let that baby born than letting it live unwanted, forever hated by it's parents.

And no it's not murder, the baby won't feel a thing, it's not aware of itself in the first place.

The thing that bothers me is that if I were aborted I wouldn't be here today, everyone has something to give back to the world. But I do believe that people can be wayyy to sensitive about the subject like ant abortion rallies and being violent. Also people say its gods plan for everything to happen, then why would abortion be against the catholic church if it were in gods plan? Lol Im not for abortion, but I Don't agree with radically being opposed to it as someone has said accident do happen, but they're can't be abortions for every little teen that doesn't want a baby. It needs to be unavoidable.

There's a million reasons each one of us might not have been born though. If your parents had conceived on a different night you most likely wouldn't be here, for example.

yes, so by this logic, this religion should be against people who don't constantly have sexual intercourse and conceive a new baby every instant (even though this is impossible for many reasons), because that means a life that could have been, won't be.

I'm not having sex right at this moment! Does that mean I must go to hell now? [:(]

Not true. The moment it starts breathing it will feel pain.

And if the parents do not want it, then put it up for adoption.

^If a grown up can be put down painless (painless poisons etc.) why can't a baby?

And for your information, a baby feels pain way before it starts breathing. The nerve-system is 'completed', so to speak, long before the baby is actually born.

You're a bright one.

Can humans breathe fluid?
No

What happens when humans breathe fluid?
They drown

A baby is surrounded by fluid in the womb. That means it isn't breathing because it would die. Babies start breathing when they're born (this is why they cry). During those 9 months the baby doesn't drown despite being surrounded by fluid. Mr. Umbilical Cord solves that problem.

Why is it that all of the people saying stupid things are on the anti-choice side?

I don't know how this problem affects you lot in America, but... ever heard of overcrowding? In some countries you'd be arrested for saying that.
