You either A) have a horrible standard graphics card that was installed and you need to get a real one. or B) You need to re-install your drivers.

Since you are asking this question, my guess is that you do not have a real video card. Anything over $50 will make almost all tracks look beautiful. You can spend some real money on graphics cards, but I'd only get one of those if you have other top-of-the-line parts (mobo, CPU mainly).

Go to newegg or tigerdirect to buy a graphics card, best buy rips you off. Ask a nerd friend to help you install/pick one out, as they should know what they are talking about.

List your computer specs.

(assuming you have XP)

Go to start>control panel>system>General (default panel).

than copy/paste (feel free to delete who it is registered to and the serial number (actually, please delete this).

than go to the panel labeled Hardware. Go to device manager (the top one) and click Device Manager. A new window will open, and expand the tab of display adapters and than type in what it is (or screenshot it).

We'll tell you than what you need to do to make your computer run NL well.

with a 9200 in there, it deffinetely sounds like a driver issue. While ur at it, by another gig or two of ram to pump things up. ram is cheap these days.

They are installed... Underneath sound.
But plrac tmv is right. Driver issues, and for 40-60 bucks buy 2X1 or 2X2 DDR2 Ram. 512 is horribly slow. Its a difference of night and day from >1 to <2. Since you have SP2, you might want to download SP3, but SP2 will support up to 3.5GB of RAM as well. Eitherway get some more ram, and you might as well get 2X2 though, its worth the money.

update drivers and add some RAM memory to your computer. But before doing that check out how much your motherboard supports. You don't wanna buy some RAM which eventually won't work in your computer.

He doesn't really need any extra hardware for NL. I used to run it perfectly fine on a Pentium 3, 600mhz, 256meg sdram and a TNT2 Ultra display adapter.
