April Fools! I wanted to play a joke on the members with what many consider a joke of a site. I think I did nice work on the super original MLB logo. [:)]

With that said, I think the joke played out quite well. Some of you are still organizing lynch mobs about it. Over 100 hate emails were sent to our partner TPI site about the press release. Without any further delay here are some moments captured of this day that will forever live in infamy...

They are posted in alphabetical order but my favorite one is the fourth one down who tried to get on the new owner's side muhahahahahahaha! [devilish]

Lol wow some of you guys really take it too far.

This has to be one of the most classic online April Fool's joke.

My COD4 clan did a similar one last year. The clan started on Black Hawk Down, where they are now the largest clan for the game, and then expanded to COD4. So on April fools day, the owner posted that the site was switching to COD4 only. Boy you should have seen the reactions. People flipped. 2 moderators, and 4 senior members quit. It was utter chaos.

Luckily all you guys do is talk... hahaha.

I seriously hope this happens again next year. If people are STILL stupid enough to fall for it a second time it really will go down in history.

What's funny is that people got more angry over this than when they thought the whole site was shutting down.

Haha some users were getting soo pisssed off. Like did u forget its april fools day or something? Oscar you should post some of the hate mail i bet its hilarious

The joke didn't work on me. I'm almost immune for pranks. It was already suspicious enough for me that wws changed his old account (member 1! xD), and put post count to zero. But I pm'ed him that he forgot to change the state (When I saw it Seuss's profile still said CA.)

Everyone who participated in the joke: t-con, sff, jay and everyone who I forgot. Thanks! You all made my day! [:D] This joke was almost as good as a good ol' classic bash evening that used to happen in the early days.

I think it's funny how tidyboy seems to have disappeared from the forums after realizing that it was an April fool's joke after all.
