I hate to start yet another topic, but I just cant seem to accomplish this one. I watched Entropy's tutorial on Immelmans, and he said for Dive loops, do it in reverse. I tried that, and it came out awful. It looked nothing like I had expected. I looked on google, and sure enough, there were several cases of this, but none of them got a clear answer. Ive mastered the other elements, but this one I just cant. So, with that being said, what have I missed?

It's usually easier to do this when you already have a track started, and most of the time I just wing it and go off of the pictures.

Its like .9 gs leading in, then drops to nearly zero as it transitions upside down. You will need to fiddle with it for a while. It took me almost as long as it took for my cobra roll in my coaster Duma. You may want to check it out for my shaping and forces.

I feel your pain. One of my favorite elements on real coasters, but by far my least favorite to try to newton.

I attempted this element only once, and it's in Ascension....It's severely misshapen.

Really, if you know how to make a immelmann, do that in reverse. It takes a lot of fiddling just to make it functional.
