Three coasters with great reasons to be my choice for best, but I am gonna have to go with Xcelerator (as it was the first Accelerated coaster by Intiman, and I like the theme)
Ka rarely has a wait? haha I need to go when you are. I'd say it rarely has a short line, averaging maybe 1.5 hours (and I've been there summer weekdays and weekends all around the year). I've gotten lucky a few times with real short waits, but that's proven to be a rarity for me. Love short lines though, because I can grab the front without an insanely long extra wait time, and the front is so much better than everywhere else, except maybe the 2nd row.
absolutely not! Ka's launch is way more intense than TTD's one! And you feel the acceleration even after the 3.5 seconds scheduled to launch you to 206 km/h... on TTD it finishes before the 4 seconds of the launch...
intense can be seen in 2 ways: Intense as of going faster in shorter amount of time. Or intense as in going to the same speed but much in a longer period of time.
It would be awesome to go to a really fast speed in a really short amount of time (as in Acceleration G's). But on the other hand going really fast in a pretty long time (as in duration), should feel just as awesome.
Coastercount: 1410(I've seen the world and it's horrid contraptions... @.@) - Wood: 142 - Steel: 1268
its quite simple.. their are both the best.. but Kingda ka goes faster and is higher so if you want full speed do kingda, if you want more air time do kingda(depending on the last hill) but TTD is also very nice if you ask me, and CP was the first one with such a coaster eh.. And i think that that the que for TTD is longer then for Kingda, depending on the visitors count of CP every day, so..
I will choose Kingdaka for one reason:
I haven't been on TTD and it dosen't look like I will for a long time.
Other points:
When I went KK had a 10 minuit wait but that wait was quater of an hour before the park oficialy opened. I also quite liked the launch and the airtime hill, I don't see TTD being as good withought it.
I'm sorry that was mean. But I think both rides are equal for me. TT made me more pumped because the whole race-car dragster thing is more of an intense theme and is themed really well which adds alot to the experience, but KK is taller and faster which does add alot but it's not something to brag about when the theme is something kinda stupid and not as fear inducing. To me KK is just a tower of steel, while TT is less of a tower, but a very fast ride. So to me it's a battle between Height vs Speed.(I know KK goes faster but TT seems to go too fast for the length of the track...I hope you guys know what I mean.
Sometimes you gotta sacrifice a little bit of yourself to get the job done.
Dragster's got the lapbars, I found it ten times smoother than Ka (last season, anyways) and such a kick ass atmosphere. Since the height and speed differences aren't really noticeable to me, TTD it is!
