Hydroxima is an Intamin Accelerator currently in the works. I started this project as a sort of contest for myself to make a very compact, intense coaster with an original layout. So I added some layout restrictions with supports, and tried to find a way to fit a ride into there. So far, so good.

Right now this ride is in the supporting stage, and the track was finished in a few weeks with a combination of elementary and handbuilding with the result AHGed. It's pretty obvious which elements were created with elementary; basically, there are no small occasional pumps from the back seats.

Right now, my main concern is that the front structure on the top hat looks a bit funky and unrealistic. I sort of based it off of Xcelerator, but can anyone suggest how to make it look better?

idk, it does look weird, but not in an unrealistic way, i think, it flows into the inversion well, so i'd say keep it.

Im curious how forceful it is. Judging by the huge and very banked turn, thats either super fast or the turn pulls like -6 lats.

The turn is coming right off of the launch, at about 72 mph. It pulls -.1 lats.

K. good. How do you control the forces on the tophat? At that speed, and it seems like thats a small tophat, it must be very forceful...

Edit: ah, i see its an inverted tophat. Nevermind. Looks great!

I've been working on some other stuff with FVD and I stopped working on this temporarily, but I finally started supporting again. Here are the final top hat supports, and I'm probably 1/3 of the way done with supports now. Do they look okay?

Supports look clean, but not much else to comment on. Put in more work before you show another screen so we can really give you some suggestions

I'm about halfway done with supports, and I'm currently mapping the tunnel. (It will be .3ds, I'm just mapping it then exporting it and touching it up.)
