If you haven?????????t already seen the Serenity Trailer, check it out here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yl6RFf9N_pQ

I already released this coaster over on Coastersims last summer and never really got the chance to release it here and I just thought I would. For any of you already familiar with this ride or for those who have already downloaded it, it is the EXACT same version that I uploaded on CS. Nothing will be changed. It should be uploaded within the next few days. Until then...... check out the NLDC page and Trailer on Youtube by clicking the links above!

Everything looks amazing! What program did you use to make the video and what are your NL avi settings for recording the video?

You're only releasing it now after how many months on CC.

I used Final Cut Express HD to edit the video and I used Motion 2 for all the special effects and titles and such.

What do you mean my AVI settings though? Well as far as I know, I jacked all my graphic settings to the maximum and the AVI framrate was set at 24 fps so I could get the clearest picture. Forgot to turn off the ride stats though at the top of the screen though.

Sorry I'm releasing it SO much laster on here. It never really crossed my mind to upload it here since I had such a fiasco uploading to Coastersims if memory serves right. I'm also almost done working on another coaster too which I will DEFINITELY release on here. Because I am almost done with the new one and the fact that I planned to release that one on here when its done and not almost 10 months after the fact, I figured I mine as well FINALLY upload Serenity as well.

Well.... crap. I've tried uploading it 5x now and it only returns me an error. Could this be because of the size of the file? It is a little over 17mb.

How big are your textures? I assume thats the bulk of the load. Couldnt you size them down a notch? Man I thought I could use a lot of textures or is this thing a massive polygon hog?

What error number do you get?
Try Naming it just Serenity.. the name may be too long.

AMAZIN! lolz, just a sick ride indeed. Btw, I was looking at your Turaco coaster, that looks crazy cool also. 2 things, that Fly to Lie after the dive is just amazing, and also, whats the song name? hehehe...
So, my friend came up to me the other day and asked if I wanted a frozen banana, and I said no, but I want a normal banana later, so... yea.

Just keep scrolling...

Yea, sorry it's so huge. Most of the space is taken up by extremely large and complex objects, and the crapload of jpg textures. All together its 161 files that are installed. I believe all the textures are 512x512 tho.

I'll try uploading it again in a little bit. I know how some of you feel about it running arduously slow. Before I got my 24' iMac last august, I was running it on my old laptop where it would at best, pull 30fps, and at worst pull 6-7fps, and those were on low settings too! Now I can run it on about an average of 40-50fps where at worst it gets to 35fps all on high settings.

But yea, its a complex ride. I think I mentioned this before, but nothing will have changed with the track when I upload it here from when I uploaded it last year on CoasterSims.

Must say, that even with all those 3d's and textures my FPS stayed in a fairly normal way. Still it was huge and would be amazing in real life as a theme.
