I wouldn't open it if it had an e-mail address like that. Also I wouldn't know who it's from so i'd just delete it.

There is a lot of these going around lately, more than just one, every day i get sent a new virus from a different e mail address, but if I don't know the e mail address I just delete the e mail anyway.

Bino, welcome to one of the fundamental arguments of... ummm... computers... I guess. What about cracking (to hack is actually a verb meaning "to program", it is improperly used by almost everyone) with no malicious intent, but only to strengthen one's knowledge? Is it so bad then, if you did nothing wrong and hurt no one? In fact, most colleges and univirsities may teach it! In many bookstores, you will find books teaching you how to crack, with the intention of using it for fun, not profit or malice. Of course, NO ONE believes that anyone who cracks WITH malicious intent SHOULDN'T be punished.

Just a little history lesson [8D]

I know about craking because im taking a webmasters course at my highschool. I too mistook hacking for craking befor i took the class. I also delete any e-mails i dont know or have never heard of the name. My webmasters teacher also told our class of a virus that would get into your e-mail after you checked it, go through your address book, and send more viruses to your friends. I think its over with now though. I am going to wind up being a computer geek cause im real interested in computer science. for 12th grade im taking a lot more computer couarses and you can guess what im taking for college. Right now i can create my own web pages using microsoft frontpage, i also learned a little bit of HTML, Hyper Text Markup Language, it is the universal language of the internet. I dont know where im going with this subject right now, but im going back and forth with it.

Youve learned a bit more, what HTML is.[approve][pshades][:D]

I created a nifty little virus in about an hour and 200 lines of code.[8D]Never sent it anywhere of course.[:D]However, some of the more advanced worms and trojans do usually take a bit longer to code, and pretty much take your life away, as you can get tried for a jail sentence if you get caught.[xx(]

well, I can imagin CompuWiz as being one of those people wit no lives, but I don't think he is mean enough to do that. Don't take it personal, just that the posts you have made are kinda how you say really nerdy. Such as to hack is to code. So??? The new usage of that word is to creat code harmful to other computers when downloaded, a non-nerd definition with some nerd like word structure???? I dunno. but anyways, Yeah I've deleted every single bulk email, and regular email if I don't know who it's from. Pops said that the reason all these viruses being set to almost everybody's email is because the "h4x0rZ" infected the email providers and then they send em to other emails,

I always get lots of mail in my bulk, but i always delete it, I hardly get any strange mails in my main inbox. I don't think my bro has a antivirus program in his comp. (The one I use every day cause its the only computer in my house) But i think he should get one, just in case[peakhill]
