Thorpe park

Went to thorpe park was expecting large queues, and got them. Me and my family arrived at 8:30, and got into the park at 9:10. Was expecting a bridge full of armed guards, shouting 'go go go' as I have heard previously. I guess they stop doing that after a while. Got into the swarm huddle as lots of young restaurant workers tried to push through and managed to cover one middle-aged woman in mustard. Finally got into the swarm queue line and went into the front seat-queue (do NOT do this it takes so much longer than it looks) and was on the ride, left side but oh well. Then it broke down, as did every other ride in the park as soon as i got in their respective queues. flying fish didn't break down. But, used the prority pass they gave me to go on swarm a couple of times so all in all not a bad day. Queues settled in at around 45mins all day. Went in saw alive also, male actos were brilliant women were rediculous and over-the-top. Typical new ride break downs are typical.

At the start of the day there was a big huddle (or swarm if you will :p) of young thugs wanting to sprint to the front of the swarm queue to get on the ride first; but the whole swarm area was blocked off so we had to wait outside the rib shack where the employees sadly were trying to set up.

Great rides but a slow start as the card readers weren't working so forced to pay cash! Got there well in time for opening but the desks were poorly managed and the staff slow. Pre booked Flow rider and paid. The staff on each ride were generally very good but there were a few exceptions where more staff would have helped the queue move quicker. Having said all this the children loved the rides especially Tidal Wave and the Detonator. I used to pre booked our passes from:
