You need to place the sketchup textures into the NoLimits Coasters Objects folder. Then you can view your textures :)

it will probably, have you tried what he suggested yet?

Hey,
I did have that colour problem which I could fix but now I have another where I have made a fence in sketchup (with the fence texture on both sides, and ran through anim8tor for the colour problem) and when I load it up in the NL sim one side of the fence is completely see-through?
can anyone help?

You would have to export two-sided faces (which adds a TON of faces you dont need) or you can take the single face between the fence posts and "push/pull" it about a half-inch, then texture the opposite side as well.

So if I export it with two sides, do I run it through anim8or and tick 'two sides' when I fix the textures up?

If you continue to have problems, it is because you have to export the sketchup 3d files through another program like 3ds max after sketchup. Somthing to do with sketchup and not doing something with the faces correctly.

I still suggest making the chain section with depth you will avoid most other issues.

I have no problems with sketchup and it allows me to create things much more accurately for importing into the simulator. The only downside is the ambient/diffuse lighting export step you need to run in Anim8or. i have successfully created a chain-link fence like zane was attempting to without any problems. I have not had any issues with textures not loading either.

Yeah, my WWAN connection went funky on me in the middle of posting, so it kept trying to re-send the previous page...hence triple post at very different times.

I'm sure you can use a search engine OTHER than Google and search for your free sketchup pro? I know plenty of people that find licensing programs for stuff that would otherwise cost hundreds or thousands of dollars.
