I'm going to buy a new pc in a few months so I can run SM properly. My nvidia card is not good enough and I don't want to sink alot of money into upgrading the pc I have. I want to see the wooden coasters as they were intended. [;)]

You might not need to buy a new pc. You could wait intill SM2 comes out, since there will be alot of changes made, and it is said it'll run much faster and smoother then it is now.

If you like SM now, you'll be very impressed with SM 2! [;)] BTW, SM 2 wil be a free upgrade if you aready have SM 1.xx, [:D][;)]

I'm looking very forward to SM 2! SM already has all of the editor features that I wish that NL had, and with the new terrain and eye candy features that has been announced for SM 2, it looks like it will pretty much have ALL of the bases covered.

SM is okay, but the graphics are very cartoonish and not exactly that realistic. Also, it ran slowly for me but thats my comp [lol] i thought i had a good comp [lol]
How do you get the 4-d rides to flip? I have the same problem as rcmaniac.

and rcmaniac, you better learn a lesson about reading site rules [:(!]

Getting the 4D rides to flip is easy. When you're building a 4D ride, you'll have a flip setting in addition to the banking setting. You use that to control the flip. It is somewhat hard to get the flip just right, simply because making a smooth, fluid 4D ride is tough [:)]

Some people prefer SM's graphics and others prefer NL's. The simple fact is that neither are completely realistic. There are so many little details missing that just weren't feasible when the games were made. SM2 isn't just about eye candy though. There are plenty of new features in it as well, like a completely new editor to compliment the current editor.

I have just started using SM again and it took next to no time to get back into it! I do feel
that it doesn't run as well as it should but it has alot of features that I would like to see in NL(thoe I can't see them happening as Ole is justing adding to the original engine! can wait to be able to get
my 3d files into SM so I can do some better stations! Ole, Brian, Kobain keep up the good work!

what's screammachines? Is this another RCT series. Is it like RCT 3 (i.e. people, charaters, vending, etc? If so, I been looking for something more realistic than RCT 3.
