I have this condition, but with a mutation on it. It's called the "I have fantastic ideas, and would like to try them, but ultimately I will not be good enough / ambitious enough / have enough time to make them" syndrome. It involves me thinking of something, dreaming of how cool it could be, then a realization effect where the realistic side of my brain says "silly AJ, there is no way you could make something like that!" And then it backs it up with real-time statistics and telemetry data such as "you are not good at 3Ds" (which eliminates the ideas alone most of the time), as well as "you are not good enough with trackwork to do that" - among other data shown through history.
This is exactly why the majority of my projects never get finished lol. First I'll start telling myself "it's no use, you're not any good at (insert aspect here)" and laziness automatically kicks in.
I have maybe... 350 unfinished projects in my tracks folder. Most of which have nothing more than a station and lift. lol.
My current aspirations:
Another, larger, more realistically paced GG
fully braced CCI (think Baba Yaga)
Intamin giga
Intamin hyper
Intamin LSM
BLITZ!
SLC
Launched SLC
Flying Dutchman
Intamin teracoaster (similar to Cataclysm by CJD)
more realistic standup, like manhandler - the suck
Twisted Floorless like Tsar by gouldy.
Reverse launching premier.. been wanting to do this for a while
intamin that is strapped to the side of a skyscraper. (450+ ft. drop out of it, then a 400ft tophat, then back into it via lift)
.... and the list goes on. [:p] Any of these pop out at you as something I should build?
