I've got to admit, on my way to Holiday World today I wasn't expecting much. The webcam made the ride look kinda wimpy. But I went anyways cause I mean it's Holiday World. What I experienced was above and beyond what I could ever have expected. That was one fun water ride!
As always with Holiday World the Voyage was a beacon of hope poking out of the trees. Except this time it shared it's glory with a new ride, Pilgrims Plunge! We got there right in time, took out our cameras, and began our adventure.

It was awesome! I give it 5 stars! Everyone is complaining about the splash, but trust me it is enough! There was not a single inch of me that was not SOAKED! It is a ton of fun! The elevator lift is really really cool! Make your way out there if you get a chance!

Nice photos, thanks for sharing.

I plan on making a trip there after drum corps finals in August. I spent a lot of time at HW last year, but I don't think I'll be able to resist returning thanks to the new trains on Raven, Pilgrims Plunge, and the best ride on earth.

Actually the won't be having new trains on Raven this year. Gravity Group was just testing out their Timberliners on Raven. It will still have its PTC's. Hopefully they get some Timberliners sometime soon though. Those trains look great.

I had my friend shoot some videos. I don't know if they were any good, but I'll look through them and put some clips up here soon.

One of my favortite parts about the drop is, It looks like there's so much water flying up as you decend into the splash. The drop practically looks just as soaking as the splash imo... looks like a great ride.

That looks pretty cool but.....I think they could have let the splash be a BIT larger. Right now it looks really cool up until it would splash, then I was kinda like.....oh. Hopefully they add a bit more water when it comes to summer time. [:)]

it was funny... there was a birds nest in one of the track tubes at the connection point at the top. so whenever the elevator went up the bird had to fly out and wait to get back in.

Pilgrims Plunge really is a fun ride! I got to experience it in the front seat with the show water on AND off...I like the ride much better with it off, as you could actually keep your eyes open when going down the drop.

The elevator lift wasn't quite as terrifying as I thought it would be, but it seemed to creep out all of my friends. One thing is for certain, though; come summer, lines for this thing will be LONG.

One little kiss and Felina goodbye.
