Attention MAC Users

I just purchased a mac and use windows through VM Fusion. I am using elementary and Purgatorium in Windows, and then moving the files over to my mac. It's working well so far. The only thing is, I'm having an issue with the 3d view within No Limits and Elementary. The 3d view goes crazy when I try to fly around. When I try to fly through to see the 3d model, the camera flies around in circles making it almost impossible to zero in on the track. Any suggestions?

Because your using VM Fusion, it dosent have the proper drivers for your 3d graphics hardware. This is why you should use bootcamp. The NoLimits orthogonal view requires the corrosponding 3d graphics card to your hardware. You should have gotten a disk if you got a recent version of the MacBook or iMac.

In short, just use boot camp.

i think i figured it out... i put a fresh copy of XP on my computer to run through fusion. It doesnt have DirectX on it... and I'm pretty sure that's the problem. What do you think?>

I think the problem is that you are making the Mac "just work" by indirectly running 17 things at once.

DONT USE FUSION.

You have to have DirectX 8 or higher, and DirectX requires video drives, which you CANT have via VM Fusion.

So should I use parallels instead?

Parallels is much better than VM but I would still advise Bootcamp. Use parallels if you really don't want to have to dual boot though.

Yes, bootcamp is the way to go. Mine works fine.
