I remember we skipped school to go to the amusement park. My first bigger coaster was the Racers at KI. After that we road The Beast 11 times in a row. That was a GREAT day!

My first coaster was the Maverick. The coaster design from Cedar Point. I've been to Cedar Point so many time that I can't get enough of the awesome coasters they build every other year. I can't wait to see what's new for 2010.

Hmm. It depends what you count as big. I live near King's Island so....

Beasty (Fairly odd Coaster)? I cried my first time lol. (That's what she said.)

Then the Racers, then the Beast, then King Cobra(first with a loop), then vortex, then I would ride anything there. DIAMONDBACK FTW!! Actually, I'm leavin in a few minutes :)

I don't know what you mean by big either. If it means over 100 feet, then my first big coaster was Silver Bullet. Even though the first drop isn't good, the rest of the ride is still great. Image

Hmm... Well, my first coaster ever was Scorpion at Busch Gardens.
If that doesn't count, a 100 ft tall woodie named Twister II.

If this topic is the NoLimits board, then doesn't that mean that we're talking about our first NoLimits coasters, not real ones?

My first real coaster was Diamondback at King's Island, just a few weeks back. Only about the second time I've gone to an amusment park. Me and seven friends went on every coaster there except for flight deck and son of beast, which was closed. To be honest, my favorite was flight of fear, thought it was really well designed.

I don't know if you could actually call this a 'big ride', but my first roller coaster ever was the Matterhorn at Disneyland, when I was about 5 years old.

Since Disneyland's coasters don't count in my book, my first coaster was Corkscrew at Knott's Berry Farm at age 8. I've been hooked ever since and I have not returned to Disneyland. There was a 2 to 3 year period after Corkscrew that I didn't get to any amusement park, until my mom remarried and our new family went to SFMM. Every year after that first visit, that's where I wanted to go for my birthday and every year my parents would ask me if I was sure I wanted to go again. Yes!!!!

And B & M, yes, the original Mr Twister was awesome as well as Wild Cat. Shame they were both torn down when Elich Gardens moved. Haven't been to the new park. Looks smaller and a lot more lame.

California Screamin, that ride isn't really big, when I looked at it, I was scared, but it was pretty fun. I was 7 years by the way.
