Still not convinced its a movie. Could be a commercial shoot. Most likely is. I still dont see the park being open for a movie taping. Hmmm, was Kennywood open during Adventureland's filming anyone?

I don't know, but I doubt it, beings most of the park was transformed for the filming of the movie.

This doesn't surprise me, lots of movies have been filmed at Magic Mountain, aka "Wally World".

Maybe it's for the website. They have videos only for a few of the coasters on the website so maybe they decided to do it for all the coasters.
Sometimes you gotta sacrifice a little bit of yourself to get the job done.

There's a website for each park. The Website's are all different in the sense of what they contain. But the basic things are all the same. You know like location and all that stuff. Some of them put teasers, some put actual ride PVs. But all in all it's mainly up to whomever runs the site for that park, whether it be the Manager, Janitor or some random old lady.

In the 70's when the Brady Bunch was filmed at King's Island and Wonderwowan was filmed at Magic Mountain, neither park was completely closed during filming. They closed rides and areas as needed for filming. So it is possible. Especially in Southern California where filming is always going on somewhere and the people just accept it and know how to behave around it. not like here in Chicago where the public drives me nuts during films.

Sort of. They filmed it around the same time as Phantom Fright Nights, but that's only on Friday and Saturday evenings; every other day of the week the park was closed.

If they did film a movie/ commercial it should have been done when the park was closed so theres not any distractions to it
