Just announcing my newest project on here. Charybdis & Scylla, a massive B&M Invert Dueler.

I started the track work back in August, and I've only just perfected the layout. It's far from finished, but I can definitely say I will finish it this summer, and I can't wait to get it out there.

The ride is themed to two great sea creatures from ancient Greek mythology, and can be read up on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scylla_and_Charybdis. The theming process hasn't started yet, but the ideas are being put down already, so expect something soon.

To see how the ride has progressed check out my project page http://www.nolimitsdevcenter.net/p5013 .

ok... wow.

Seriously cool looking ride, mate. Looking at the loops first of all, am I right in thinking that one train is coming down and the other train is coming up? I belive that is correct, if so, scary! [lol]

The double helix looks pure mintage.

Generally, very very cool looking coaster! Good luck!

wow. I made a crappy woody for this theme and I failed miserably. (IMO about 3 years ago, I was da bomb)<lol. It sucked sooo bad that I just made it an older project and didn't even want to try and fix it.

good luck with this one ;).

Pretty much. It does touch into yellow, but not too much. In real life it would be one of the most intense helixes out there.

That's one sick ride. I like those supports and especially the theming around the ride!

I've decided AGAINST using any 3Ds on this ride.

Mainly because it wouldn't be my own work, but also frame-rate issues. Although it works well on my PC, if put on a slower computer the frame-rate issues would lead to the ride being out of sync. I also feel this ride is strong enough to stand alone.

But to make up I've been working on some intensive terrain work. To give you the greek sea monster feel =D.

With the track and supports pretty much done and only aesthetics and checking to be done, expect this to be released next week.

I agree. This looks nice enough without any extras. I am really liking the new colors and am just waiting for the release!

This looks AMAZING.
Jw, how did you go about starting?
Did u plan it out or did u make one track and just go back and make another and plan out the interaction after?

I kinda had an idea of where i wanted to go, but it was mainly a lot of trail and error.

It was initially just going to be a large scale B&M Invert. But I thought that wasn't challenging enough and the layout wasn't working. I added the other half and it all came together from then, albeit, a little slowly.

I'll upload it tomorrow, I've released it on a couple of other sites, and am just acting on some feedback I got.

^ Don't expect perfect lol, in my eyes it's my smoothest ride, but others aren't too happy.

But I've done my best, that's something I know. Just gonna upload it now guys.
