Just got to the hotel. Loving the indoor waterpark at Castaway Bay. Tomorrow is CP day 1. Expect a picture only report sometime after that.

I love CP. Standing out on the groomed beach watching the lit park and hearing TTD engines and then a screech.

Honestly, EVERY RIDE has been going down, Millennium Force is messed up, Top Thrill Dragster can barely make it over the hill, its bad right now, I went 5-17 and today, 5-18

I'm sorry if i ruin things, but i'm just trying to be honest, and honsetly Cedar Point has a lot of things to get fixed. But today Top Thrill Dragster was running, but with frequent break downs. Yesterday they were only letting 4 people on at a time, because they were too afraid to open it to the public

DAY 1 - Pictures to come soon.

Today was GREAT! Well.....did get a bit sick but that was no reason to put a downer on the day.

Credit Count went up a few numbers to. Didnt hit all the coasters and only 1 that I did ride broke into my top 10, top 5, heck, even my top 3.

First Ride - Magnum XL-200

The ride was nice. The air hurt.....a lot. Not bad but not in my top 5 or anything.

Second Ride - Gemini

Only ran the blue side of the track. Very nice smooth track. Decent hybrid coaster.

Third Ride - Maverick

20 minute line...if that. Great ride. Little much on the head banging though the Strangle Dive though. Sat in the back seat of the last car. The drop after the lift hill........................DAMN!!! It was great.

4th Ride - Mantis

My ears hurt. LOTS of head banging on that ride. Decent coaster....but the head banging killed it soooo much.

LUNCH at Joe Cool Cafe

5th Ride - Chaos

I should know by now that I should never get on a ride after eating. This made me feel sick for about 2 hours. Not fun. The ride was cool though.

6th Ride - Disaster Transport

If Flying Turns is anything like this, I will love it. It was a great riding experience. IMO, this should have been the Dark Knight sort of ride that Six Flags built.

7th and 8th Rides - Cars

Sort of like Dorney's Road Rally but longer. Not sure why the park has three though.

9th Ride - Corkscrew

Nice ride. Thought there was a helix in there because of the video. Guess not though.

10th Ride - CCMR

Nice Mine Train ride. Nice ops.

11th Ride - Iron Dragon

LOL, I gotta use this guys rails spiel. "Dont sit on the gates. They are our friends and we dont sit on your friends so dont sit on ours." Thats great. Talon crew has some new spiels coming from me soon.

The ride itself was nice. Mist cooled me down a bit.

10th Ride - Thunder Canyon

At Dorney you get REALLY WET. On this.....lets just say I got wetter walking over the ride the on it.

11th Ride - Snake River Falls

This cooled us down....A LOT! Water was really cold to.

12th Ride - Wildcat

Funny little ride. Nothing great though.

13th and 15th Ride - CP & LE RR

Nice full size train ride. Cool animations though out.

14th Ride - Mean Streak

OUCH!!!! No this is PAIN STREAK. GCI re-tracked this?!? When? If this was worse then it was toady....No....take it down. Put a good non-rib-braking ride in its place. Never again will I ride that.

After that train we went to the arcade until close. I destroyed my buddy in number of tickets won. He had maybe 70 to my almost 500. Not bad for 10 bucks.

Decent day overall. Cant wait to get the following tomarrow.

1. Top Thrill Dragster
2. Millennium Force
3. Raptor
4. Wicked Twister
5. Any minor coasters I feel like.
6. maXair
7. Demon Drop
8. Power Tower

So, anyone know if you can get into the beach without paying for the park?

As for you Jms10391, I didnt have the day you must have had. It was great for me. Though we did notice rides going down, it didnt hurt us.

Oh, my top 3 and thus top 5 and top 10 coasters have changed. (Steel only.) What made my list, and what number is it? Any right guesses might get something in return. Listen to the show to find out if your right.

Was it Maverick that broke your top 3? Just a silly guess, definitely hasn't been breaking people's top 10s for two years.../sarcasm

Sounds fun! Cedar Point is full of great rides. I LOVED Demon Drop so much, enjoy it [;)] I agree with you 100% on Mean Streak...and I rode it before the re-tracking (actually, when did this happen?). It's horrid.

Magnum was my favorite ride at the park! It's a shame a lot of people can't handle painful air </3

P.S. Too.

Aww Gerst. You got it. Maverick was great but there is just something about Talon that it was unable to top. IDK what but there is just something there.

The beach is open, right by "ocean motion" and the outdoor bike show there is a gate. Just walk over there and get your hand stamped and walk out. You have to have your hand stamped to get back in!!!!!

Thats good! At least you had fun! And Maverick in 20 minutes? I don't believe it! And magnum does hurt, especially guys, but you just have to position the lapbar right.

Pictures are being uploaded now.

And as for Day 2....

YAY! Resort ERT FTW!!

First Ride: Raptor

Gotta love the greatness of B&M inverts. (Or anything B&M.) Great ride. Looked weird with the turn before the lift and with only one set of steps on the lift. This ride didnt top my number 1 coaster (and invert) though. Talon still stands tall there.

Second Ride: Millennium Force

Waited about 30 minutes for the front. (Still only resort time.) Oddly enough it was running three trains....the yellow one full of water dummies. Never thought I would see that. The ride itself was great. Intamin is really creeping up on B&M for my favorite designer but its not there yet. Yea, it was big and force-less but I still liked how it kept its speed. (I wounder why TTD and KK were unable to do the same.)

3rd Ride: Top Thrill Dragster

Not as fast as KK but definitely nice. Was one of the attendants birthday and they did a good job of letting everyone know. (Glad my crew forgot on my birthday last Friday. lol)

4th Ride: Iron Dragon

My only re-ride. Just so my buddy could get the credit.

5th Ride: maXair

Nice ride. Reminded me a lot about our Revolution.

6th Ride: Wicked Twister

Ride one Impulse, and you've more-or-less ridden them all IMO.

7th Ride: Blue Streak

Nice older woodie. Glad to see CF wants to keep these older rides at their parks.

8th Ride: Gemini Red

Needed the other side.

After that we decided to leave. Check out was at 11AM and I wanted to get the 11 hour drive home done with.

Overall, Cedar Point was a great park. Little crowded for my liking but for you guys I guess that it was "dead".

Updated Top Ten List:

Steel

1. Talon - Dorney
2. Maverick - Cedar Point
3. Raptor - Cedar Point
4. Laser - Dorney (Defunct)
5. Top Thrill Dragster - Cedar Point
6. Kingda Ka - SFGADv
7. M.F. - Cedar Point
8. Steel Force - Dorney
9. Possessed - Dorney
10. Magnum XL-200 - Cedar Point

Wood

1. Phoenix - Knoebels
2. Twister - Knoebels
3. Hercules - Dorney (Defunct)
4. Thunder Hawk - Dorney
5. Blue Streak - Cedar Point
7. El Toro - SFGADv
8. Rolling Thunder - SFGADv
9. Mean Streak - Cedar Point

Notice how the wooden list has changed quite a bit. One Dinn as number one, one Dinn as number Burn it DOWN!!! lol

MF forceless? That is not true! I almost black out on the first turn after the drop. And the drop has insane airtime! Plus the rest of the time still has more force and air than any B&M hyper EVER.

^You are correct in stating the first drop has airtime. However you are completely wrong that it has more air than any B&M hyper. That's just ignorant.

Glad to hear the report...hopefully things go well when I head over there June 16th.

Really? Ive never been pushed into my lap bar on any hill on MF other than the final bunny hop. And Ive got 100+ rides. I think the speed gives you the illusion youre pulling more than you are because its more like pure floater airtime over those 2 hills which in THOSE restraints you cant really feel.

Im sorry, after the drop (the first overbank does nothing for me personally in way of blacking out. Ive held my breath up the hill and through it trying to deprive myself of some oxygen even) the rides basically a waste of space.

6th Ride: Wicked Twister

Ride one Impulse, and you've more-or-less ridden them all IMO.

Wrong. You obviously did not ride in the back.
Twister is definitely a back seat ride.
