Construction Update:

After about a week of deciding on a section of Nyx's layout, i have nearly perfected my "controversial" non-inverting immleman, and the g's are all surprisingly low due to this elements sheer size of 215 feet. Not only will it be the biggest element of it's size, it will be an adventurous move for a B & M.

Sometimes you gotta sacrifice a little bit of yourself to get the job done.

I've gotta say, since there isn't much track to see, those colors look horrid.

Make the colors more faded, they look more realistic that way in the simulator.

Construction update:

Well, I had a streak of busy days, but i had some time to continue progress. Layout is now the following:

-Launch
-1st hill
-non-inverting immleman
-airtime hill
-very low to the ground high-speed turn
-airtime hill
-airtime hill
-mcbr
-540* spiral (steep curved drop into inclined loop)
-(more to come)

For my testers, expect to have the track in about 2-3 weeks.

For everyone else, after testing, i'll still need to complete supports and 3ds work, so you can expect it roughly around June 10th.

All forces are in check, and I think its safe to say this will be my best project to date.

If you really wanna go the B&M route, add a hammerhead.

Well slisparky, i kinda want to deviate from the b&m route, but i havent too far. Plus i dont need anymore turnarounds in my layout so i'm staying away from the all to common hammerhead.

ok I will have 3 testers but thats it. I dont want more because i want feedback quickly.

Testers:
coasterpimp, slisparky and sapporo93.

Update:

Further progress has been made to the track, and new pictures will be posted on the NLDC page. It's getting closer to done every day. Expect 1-2 weeks for track completion.

Sweet [8D] I envy you. It's really, really hard for me to finish a hand-built ride. I'm just too lazy!
Good luck!

well i cant really use the tools well...

so its not really a choice, but i feel more accomplished when i build it all myself.
