While that is quite a cheezy backstory and name (help me come up with a better one) I am designing...a woodie. I am trying to follow a GG style, but if it does not...I will call it "Tidus"-style.

Either way, It is 150ft. tall, and already has a max -G of 1.5 and max + of 3.3G's...with a lift and second hill...

It started as an experiment file to make a station out of catwalks (I got the gift as well...) But then I went into making a woodie to go with it...and with auto-supports (on some parts) when you select del. previous structure...it got rid of the station I made...I could not escape it, so, now it is just a woodie that is coming together, either way, here are some pics. and the NLDC page.

The NLDC page!

What are these for?

1. A normal prelift is fine....that looks TOO awkward.
2. That isn't GG shaping at all.
3. -1.3 and -1.5 would just hurt.....-0.8 would keep you out of your seat on both hills, and that's still quite a lot.

Some of the ideas are good, but you might wanna adjust them a bit for sake of realism.

Where is this "isn't GG shaping"...you have to say what you're talking about, don't spit sh*t out the fly, and expect me to buy it.

I got the other stuff, though I will just change the pre-lift; basic quarter turn, into transfer track, a non-banked helix, hitting you into the lift at about 10 or 12 mph. Also, I will increase the second hill size because the shaping of that hill is just beautiful, I will copy, and put it into the track at about 120% or 130%.

Better?

The whole thing wasn't GG shaping, besides the airtime hill which was okay. And yeah that prelift sounds a lot better, but what do you mean by helix? If you were using that correctly it seems kinda odd....

He meant the drop is not shaped right for GG's style. He's trying to help you so chill out.

Yeah...I know, I just want to know how Boardwalk Bullet's drop gets away without GG shaping, can someone let me know?

How is my drop not GG shaped, because I have a steeper angle?

It is too sudden of a drop and yes it is too steep to be realistic for GG.

For shaping examples, look at Hades:

griffonluv: you're confusing me, an actual GG drops looks even more sudden.

Firstly GG doesn't do the double drop coming off the lift but seeing that your building a coaster designed by you and not GG, I prefer it actually. Gives some massive airtime when entering the drop at speed even for the front riders.

Actual shaping problem, Gravity Group LLC is all about sustained airtime and due to some of the speeds and pacing their rides reach, extremely well calculated drops and hills is a must. Remember, just a little shift of a vertex can mean too much force. Try making the drop more parabolic shaped to get the sustained force you need.

Look at the orange line to get a better idea of what I mean:

-1.3 is a bit too much airtime especially for a first drop, try getting -1.1 at its worst. IOW you're going to have to enter that thing way slower.
