my parents think im doing drugs.I came home from a park one day and my mom was leaving for work. It being a sunday afternoon, everyone was out mowing their lawns and blowing grass into my eye when they know im squinting because its getting in my eye. My dad was talking to me about drugs in the car too. If anyones a parent, just let me know what goes through a parents head when they think their child is using drugs. I need to know what their thinking, so i can get in-line with that, and convince them im not using drugs.

First they suspect that you might be using drugs. Next they think, if they are vagina parents, that if they confront you, you might pull out a switch blade and cut them up to pieces so meanwhile they will beat around the topic until they are confident enough to ask you if you are using drugs, in this case, your parents fit this criteria [lol]

Are you doing drugs? You did not really deny it. You just asked how to convince them that your not.

Usually if the human mind gets worried about something as your parents are about their suspicion, the mind over time gets stuck on that topic and doesn't look at any alternative reasons. Be prepared though cause every move you make is going to get monitored. My Step brother was or maybe still is using weird shiz and they didn't stop right until we physically had to force the urine test procedure. Sorry if that wasn't the answer you where looking for...

Hows that for post no. 666 [devilish]

It seems to me, that if you have grass allergies or senstivity, they would already be aware of it and that may not be their motivation for asking you.
Television is full of "experts" telling parents that they need to be diligent in their observation and information about what kids are up to. Also, as children become teenagers and young adults, their individual personalities become more apparent and parents often don't understand how someone they raised can be different from themselves and start to suspect a malicious cause instead of just accepting that as humans, we are all different from each other. Whatever the motivation for their suspicion, and whatever you do to try to convince them that nothing is wrong, it won't likely stop. And I don't think it should. Having an open dialogue about drug use and making an effort to be involved and informed in your life is not only their right, it's their responsibility. Sure it seems invasive and annoying now but, the ignorant parent is usually the one who ends up in front of a judge or on a news program talking about how the horrendous thing their child did took them by surprise. Just reassure them everytime they ask and get used to it because it won't likely stop anytime soon.

^Well, it may be a bit harder to convince them you're not on drugs if you do them (even occasionally).

Maybe they are just jealous that you can find them a lot easier at your school and other places than they can.

Why do you care so much about convincing your parents you aren't doing drugs when you actually are?

All I have to say, is that if anyone that uses drugs is an idiot. It's only MY opinion, but drugs do stupid things to you, & in return, you do stupid things. I've totally abandoned a friend by choice because of the person they became. Drugs are just stupid.

Maybe just flat out tell them that you are and their curiousity will go away. Worked with mine.

If you're really not doing drugs at all, and want them to back off a little, try taking them on this show.

However, Judge Penny will probably tell you what I did about it being good parenting to be involved and a little invasive.
