Sheikra's first drop is out of this world. Just waiting for the first fall is scary. Def. my favorite first drop. SO much suspense.

For me it's gotta be X (or X2, whatever)...

When you get up to the top, you back really see anything because you're still backwards, then the seats to so you're facing straight down, then, WOW!! Incredible.

Definitely El Toro for me. The first drop is insane in the back seat. Nitro front seat is about the same. It's tough to choose between the two. Both are insane.

Batman Knight Flight (Dominator) when it was at Six Flags World's of Adventure (Geauga Lake) next to the lake. Front row. A parking lot drop just isn't the same.
Millenium Force
The Villain and those metal head choppers. (RIP)

Those are the two steepest in steel and wooden and I've been on both of them. If you leave out Saw the ride. but thats new. and in Britain

After this weekend, I am going to have to say Voyage has one of the best first drops I have experienced, followed by the Raging Bull

my favorite is the very back seat of ghostrider especially on the right, with the lapbar comfortably loose,
wonderful experiences

New ones to add this year.

I rode Cyclone SFNE for ert in the morning for my ace event a couple weeks ago. I was in the middle of the train. WOW. That first drop has as much ejector as superman.

Thats what it used to be. If only it was still.

And i rode boulder dash in the back and i flew out of my seat with like -.3 gs and 1.1 lats. Just look at it.

Back row heaven.

Dashs drop is mostly lats. You just lift up because you're being pushed to the side so hard. And yeah.....Cyclones is crazy.

My coaster experciences is limited, so I don't think I will ever have a top 5.
But the best drop for me is the one on Expedition G-Force at Holiday Park in Germany.
I think it's due to the fact you don't see the drop when you're on top of the lifthill. You've got the impression you're going to drop into the void. Ans of course the twist in the drop makes it even better.

That's about it. I can't come up with ohter drops (from coaster that I've been on) that are worth mentioning.
