This is sad news indeed, I can see it now, they tear down Big Bad Wolf and they put in a shizzy little Gerstlsaur (sorry Gerstlcrazy) spinning coaster and name it "The Ultamate Thrill Coaster!"

Good, that ride sucks too.

Have you ridden it with its new wheels in the very back row this year? Its the smoothest arrow ever if you do it.

I'm pretty sure there isn't an Arrow smoother than Tennessee Tornado... (and yes Ive been on Lochness many many times).

The Bat at KI was the first of the concept and failed mostly becuase they had no clue what they were doing when designing and building it...The Bat when first built had no banking to the track, which cuased major problems as the trains would travel to there swinging limit. It was not fun!

A-HA! That's why the RCT series don't have banked tracks for the swinging suspended coasters!

Tennessee Tornado is one of my favorite roller coasters! It's such a shame these newer mega-loopers never caught on. Rides like Tennessee Tornado could have saved Arrow in my opinion.
Oh, were you expecting something here?

I went to the park the other day, and I did ride BBW. It made me even more sad to ride it, because it is an awfully fun ride. Its like 20 times more fun at night too.

Right when I got off, they had to close it for maintainece...

Makes me very sad.

I'd just like to remind everyone that it's an effing rollercoaster... Not a 6 year old dying from leukemia...

Get over it.

Thank goodness I will get to ride BBW before they remove it. I live down in Louisiana and am going to Busch Gardens Williamsburg for the 1st time next month. I am a big fan of the old Arrow suspendeds.

And Griffon is an awful ride designed by communists.

I never said the terrible capacity was a result of only being 2 seats wide, I merely meant that it contributes.

I would argue that the reverse is actually true. Attendants can check 2 x 2 wide rows faster than a single 4-wide row, since one operator can just walk down each side of the train.

If You've seen how Nitro or Apollos chariot shove people out the station you'd realize that this doesn't make the capacity worse, if anything it improves it.

Why would they get rid of that? Its the parks only family coaster, and it would ruin their family appeal

What better time to take it out than after it's 25th anniversary? It's had a long life.

Coasterkidmwm, Grover is actually a pretty kickass kiddie coaster. Top 10 quality. (not really)

I'm from VA, and was riding that coaster before there were any 4-across coasters. It has to be over 30 years old. I think the last big drop off the cliff and the little town are the best parts of the ride. Maybe it go up there this summer for on last ride.

It's BBW's 25th anniversary. Not over 30 years.

And maybe that's because the only parts of the ride beside the lift is going through the village and the drop?
