Thats really bad, I think their government needs a major review of their safety regulations. A friend who works in a park in japan tells me that they don't have to do anywhere near as many checks as what he had to do when he worked at Alton Towers.
At Alton Towers, he worked mostly with Nemesis, and he had to check all of the individual moving parts of the seats and the trains every morning, before the park opened. He says they do that once a week at most in the park he's at now.
