B&M Invert Flatspins?

Ok so just recently I was able to figure out how to make pumpless corkscrews through Elementary, Purg, and AHG. One thing that I'm having a hard time doing is making a invert flat spin for B&Ms. Usually when I use elementary it comes out circular. I've used the tearing function (which doesn't make much change) and I've put in every value I can think of but it never comes out looking right. Anyone have any tips on how to make it more realistic.

Here's some examples of what I'm trying to accomplish.

(Notice how the corkscrews aren't as circular but rather flat at the top. Not only that but they have that whip look at the tips of the corkscrews.[|)]

Make your entry and exit slopes larger, like 60 or 65 ish. That, combined with tearing, should get you the shape you want!

Hm I'll try that. I just tried negative numbers for tearing and it came out somewhat similar. Should I just stick to using positive numbers?

You can always make your regular corkscrew in elementary then flatten the top a bit. You just have to make it small, because B&M wingoevers really whip you over the top.

I tried flattening but after I Ahg it screws up the corkscrew and it makes it pump.

I think it's not the shape of the corkscrew that's giving me problems but rather the banking.

I'm trying to get that whip look on top but I don't know how to adjust the banking without having ahg change it.

I think your roll is too much flattened compared to jimmy's. About AHG i've got no clue. I'd always handbuild my rides. [:)]

Yours banks too much at the bottom and is too gradual overall...B&Ms do most of the banking at the top.

Try using a lower filter, like 100?

Theres a couple types of wingovers too. But mostly...its exactly the same as a regular sitdown cork, just heartlined at -1.3m instead of 1.1m. It changes the appearance, but the train still follows the same path.

Try making it a little less stretched out because the one you're trying to build looks quite huge compared to Jimmy's. Then I don't know about you guys but I prefer not adjusting the bank within a wingover but rather let AHG do it. If the filter isn't set too high and using white color coding the wanted result can be achieved.

Again, just make a standard corkscrew and when you AHG with the proper heartline value, the shaping will follow. If you try to achieve the shape first then AHG itll be all screwed up.
