Yeah you never know....those pieces have a double spine and a very slight curvature, so it could be a massive pull-up. I kinda doubt it though.

EDIT: They're slightly banked though. Hmmm. This has me as interested as I was in figuring out the riddles about Fahrenheit.

EDIT again: Holy crap, look how many holes there are for track-connecting bolts! That's gotta be a high-stress area.

no, not for a massive pull up. But whatever it is it has an enormous radius.

In one, you can see a 100% Stengel move as the track actually moves down before pulling up. Its the one of the track sideways, almost like the end of the launch as it goes into a pull up.

I'm starting to doubt that this track is Intamin. Have you ever seen a Intamin coaster with this type of track?

^HAVE YOU READ THE THREAD?

We all have seen an Intamin coaster with this very same track...F-1 in Dubai!

It has been proved in many ways (diagrams found in patent offices from Intamin, tracking the trucks to Intamin, etc).

OH! I thought F-1 was S&S.

And I've scanned through it, not exactly reading every sentence. Don't get your knickers in a bunch. [:)]

Watch it be a MF clone with a new track spine.

So there would be of the most boring coasters in the world...lame.

BTW Rode MF 2 nights ago...1030pm, trains were flying, back seat - still virtually no airtime other than the main drop and bunny hill. Over the second hill, you dont even come off your seat till the very back of the drop (and I got at least 2 inches of room on my lapbar) Same for the 3rd hill.

Nah, I suspect itll be better than MF and hopefully Intamin never does another ride like MF again.

I love MF. I think people look for something they weren't trying to make it. Yeah there isn't a focus on airtime, but the pacing is blazing and I personally love the low, high speed turns and the incredible first drop. Oh well, one less person in line in front of me.

You got that right! If the ride didnt have crazy pacing with only that much track, heavy trains and most of the ride taking place under 125 (after the overbank and hill) Id be stunned. ;)

You ride that, Ill go back and ride Mav or Raptor.

^ A lot of people are. As we already discussed, MF was a genious idea to attract the GP to Cedar Point. While it may not deliver the most insane ride, it brings many to curious people to CP who want to ride it. I know its what I find myself looking at as I travel towards the park every time I go.

Wait, when did we discuss this? ;)

So, if this ride does differ a lot from F1 Coaster, it looks like Intamin may be tinkering with a new track style. Which is interesting to say the least.

Well damn. My hopes just dropped. Im just crossing my fingers for the very little chance that their just Giga coaster bolts and that it turns out to be a strata coaster, or something above 95mph.
