Sorry ... had to be said.

I guess Bush bent over more since it hit us with $5 a galllon when he was around. [:)]

Hi, Dick Cheney is notorious among geoscientists for threatening them. One of my teachers was threatened over the phone by him in 2003. Perhaps there are other factors that control gas prices like people being unable to map out the route of an oil pipeline because their company won't send them the proper maps and then they're placed under stress from being threatened by the vice president of the United States. Dick Cheney isn't in charge of Exxon/Mobil, nor was he ever, which that even more shady.

Other factors influence oil prices, like the availability of minerals to assist in getting the oil, can you actually get to the oil they've found, do they have to "hydrofract" the surrounding rocks, are your geologists being threatened by the vice president of the United States for something out of their control, etc. It's not as simple as "hey the muslim dude put the barrel on the ship and he was 90 bucks for it today".

http://thinkprogress.org/2009/06/03/cheney-bush-gm/

"CHENEY: Well, I thought that, eventually, the right outcome was going to be bankruptcy. ????????? And the president decided that he did not want to be the one who pulled the plug just before he left office."

Bush put together an expensive bailout for GM, just like what Obama has done, so that makes the republicans communist socialists just like Obama. Ta-daaa

I'm sorry to do this it's just you really need to cut down on the hypocrisy and just chill out. You're looking more and more like one of those crazy guys that winds up on CNN for doing something STUPID.

You buy into the "Obama refuses to release his birth certificate" hub-bub don't you?

I have a feeling this price rise might be more due to inflation than profiteering. The U.S. economy is in complete turmoil, and it was only made worse when our government made 2.2 trillion dollars disappear from it. [V][V][V][xx(]

And the money before that was okay? I recall years ago there being a surplus under Clinton.

Listen Matt, eat me, ok? I am not a Bush sell-out cause he did have his issues; and I NEVER (hear me) NEVER voted for Cheney and never would. He is an ass, and everyone knew/knows it. However, considering the alternative at the time:

Kerry - His wife could not keep her mouth shut and so everyday he had to start out apologizing for her dumb ass.
Edwards - Well, he couldn't keep his in his pants and obviously went to the Dan Quayle school of VPs.

What else was a Republican to do?

And ... uh ... who's in charge now? That's right bucko, it ain't the Bush's nor even the Republicans. So don't get pissy with me when people take your boy "O" to task, cause he ain't doing crap but preparing to butt-bang the white man routinely. And yes, that includes you.

Seriously man, you don't want to pick a fight with me on this one, I will more than happily come there and throttle my fist down your throat just as soon as laugh at your avatar. I'll be in your area the week after next if you'd like to test it out.

Hugs and kisses.

Okay I'll take that.

You mean kind of like McCain had to do for Mrs. Hockey Mom, or the extremists at his rallys yelling very inappropriate things about Obama (probably the same ones murdering OBGYNs and Holocaust Museum employees)?

Edwards - Well, he couldn't keep his in his pants and obviously went to the Dan Quayle school of VPs.

You mean kind of like Senator John Ensign (R, NV), who publically called Bill Clinton's affair a disgrace to this country, and then went on to have an affair himself?

What else was a Republican to do?

Hm. Yeah. Bush was definitely the lesser of those three evils.

And ... uh ... who's in charge now? That's right bucko, it ain't the Bush's nor even the Republicans. So don't get pissy with me when people take your boy "O" to task, cause he ain't doing crap but preparing to butt-bang the white man routinely. And yes, that includes you.

I don't even know what to say to this. I guess I should start with pointing out how great the "we F-ed it up, but your guy is in charge now so its your problem" defense is. I don't even get how you can try to say Obama isn't doing anything - almost every one of Bush's policies has been changed. I'd also like to preemptively sneak this link in just incase you try it. And I just love the remark hinting at white supremacy; very classy. Could you elaborate a bit on what you mean there?

Seriously man, you don't want to pick a fight with me on this one, I will more than happily come there and throttle my fist down your throat just as soon as laugh at your avatar. I'll be in your area the week after next if you'd like to test it out.

Again, how classy. Threats of physical violence in place of logical thinking is always the best way to get your point across.

I hate politics. Everything is so corrupt. Like Thomas Jefferson said, "God forbid we should ever be twenty years without such a rebellion.
The people cannot be all, and always, well informed. The part which is
wrong will be discontented, in proportion to the importance of the facts
they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions,
it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to the public liberty. ...
And what country can preserve its liberties, if it's rulers are not
warned from time to time, that this people preserve the spirit of
resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as
to the facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost
in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from
time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
It is its natural manure."

In other words, stuff needs to be redone every once in a while to help prevent some of the crap that goes on.

There is nothing to elaborate on Freddie, I've said my peace on this.

I will simply wait 3.5 years and we'll see where our Nation is. But, consider this - Obama made a lot of promises to lots of people, even to the homosexual community and from today's news, we see that he is simply not prepared to deliver.

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/31403699/ns ... ite_house/

Where's the promise if he is so powerful? I honestly think is trying to do SO much so that no one will really notice anything wrong or even bother to question what the Emperor has decreed.

Again, I'll wait 3.5 years and we will see just what he has done - good or bad. That is, if we have a nation left.

I agree about the gay rights thing, and I'm not very happy about it. While I don't think it should be a priority and there has been a lot to deal with that actually is priority, the whole tiptoeing around the issue thing isn't right in my opinion. I have noticed a few things wrong, such as this one, but I have noticed a whole lot of right too.

And I honestly don't understand what "So don't get pissy with me when people take your boy "O" to task, cause he ain't doing crap but preparing to butt-bang the white man routinely. And yes, that includes you." means, and it doesn't seem like you do either seeing as you can't elaborate on it any further? To me it sounds just like the nonsensical rantings of a Glenn Beck fan/white supremacist (one in the same?).

Anyway like I said earlier: I don't drive, I use public transit 90% of the time so this isn't really an issue for me. While it could make going to parks with my family/friends a bit tougher, it has no direct impact on me.

Freddie, please, I'm practically twice your age. Stop trying to bait me into a conversation to explain myself; I use that same tactic on my own teenage children. I said my peace, and that is really all I am going to offer on that.

Ever think that you're screwing up right now? Sorry to be a prick it's just I've always been a firm believer of explaining one's position. If someone can't, it's usually an indication of weakness in their argument.
