We have a choice of going to one or the other on our band's Florida trip next year, and I have a major influence on the executive decision.

Which would be better overall?

I'm thinking Islands of Adventure, but by 2010 when we go they will have built Rip, Ride, Rockit by then. It looks like a cool coaster, and they have the indoor Premier 'Mummy' coaster, but IOA obviously has Dueling Dragons and Hulk.

I would take Rip,Ride,Rockit and Mummy over Dueling Dragons and Hulk IMO...

But why can't you guys get the 2 park tickets? They aren't that much more and it would be TOTALLY worth it.

I agree with Jakizle... Rip Ride Rockit Sounds like a new expierience... idk its prob more sensible to buy tickets to go to both parks but maybe there are other things that are preventing u from doing so idk.

Check with the rest of the group. If most of you haven't been to the studios before then it's probably a better idea(especially since not everyone is going to love coasters) however if a lot of you have been there already, it would obviously make more sense to go to IOA.

Can't you do half of each? The parks are so different and cool that it's really hard to decide, but I'd take IOA

Wait...isn't DD closed while they are retheming the Lost Continent to Harry Potter World? I thought I heard that from somewhere...

Oh well, anyway, I think you should convice your school to contact Universal and ask for some type of discount to access both parks and even City Walk for a whole band. My school has about 80 kids in band, and we usually go to BGA.
Oh, were you expecting something here?

^The last trip 3 years ago went to BGA, and I'm really pissed that we're not. And this trip will have 108-112 people, not 80.

And it's already decided that we're going to IOA. I'm glad. HRRR doesn't look good enough to surpass everything at IOA.

Hands down, its got to be IOA. that park is one of the best "theme" parks around!

As good as HRRR looks - It's gotta be IOA. The theming is just as incredible but the rides are just bigger and better in general, as well as there being far more of them.

IOA..you got to think about it..when hrrr opens everyone gonna spend all their time there so the line is gonna be like 2hours or more..so you gonna be spending most of your day standing in on line
