So i used the terraformer on my wooden coaster, and when I use the auto supports they get all messed up and the lateral supports go all the way to the bottom of the grid, while the footers are just randomly on top of the terrain. The footers look like they're attached to nothing, look at this picture.

Is there anyway around this?

Thats because the footers of you auto generated supports will automatically ascend or decend to your landscaping. If you want to do that kind of terraforming, activate the auto-supports after the terraforming is finished. Even better build custome lateral bracing, it will make you coaster look better and more realistic.

So just clear all you auto supports and re do them, that should work.

I re-generate them over and over and they still end up like that. Custom bracing and support work is horrendous. There's so much red it's hard to see anything.

Well I'm stumped.
Btw custome supporting is very effective if you have the tenacity to do it.[stoning]

It always happens like that. Auto-supports just plain don't work on any high terrain. It's a bug that was never fixed. So you have to do them by hand. I've had to do it on numerous coasters. Nothing you can do about it really, aside from deleting everything that's underground and adding the wide supports by hand.
