Here's a new terrain out-and-back woodie I'm working on. I'm using elementary to construct this one (a first for me) so I'm going to need some testers. Most of the elementary work is simplistic in design but I decided not to start of too big.

So if your happy to test, either PM me or post here and I'll sent an email to you.

The name probably won't be final, it's just something that popped into my head (don't ask why). And yes, the name is a book written by Stephan Colbert.

Here's a new element I made earlier today.

Image

Here's some statistics:
-It's around 120' tall (from highest point to lowest).
-It reaches speeds of up to 60mph plus.
-It doesn't have a single company style but more of a combination of styles (but most prominently CCI).
-It will be terraformed.
-Hopefully it will feature some 3d tunnels and a custom environment (made by yours truly).
-A lot of the ride is quite aggressive at the moment so it won't be for the faint hearted.

If you have any comments/suggestions, don't be shy, just tell me. ;)

I'd love to test. alan.d.weide@gmail.com
I also have one suggestion from the pics: the crest of the hill shown in the latest picture is kind of sharp. G's ok there?

careful boneplay, posting your e-mail for all to see can get you quite some spam and e-mails from unwanted people...
Oh, were you expecting something here?

It's on my profile, why not make it a bit more convenient for him?

It's okay boneplaya, I've already got enough testers on other forums, but thanks for the offer anyway.

^^^^ I think I'll have another look at it now. I'm pretty sure the forces are fine on the element but I'm not sure the cars can actually clear it properly now that I look at it on the picture so I might have to alter it anyway.

Just curious but on a scale from 1-10 how difficult was it to handle FVD's for the first time?

^ I not using FVD's. I'm using HSAK for this one.

Also, I had another look at that element and it's fine clearance wise. However, there is a little lateral spike I need to sort out.

EDIT: I've decided on a name (as you may have noticed) and a theme which I'm sure you can figure out yourself lol. As for the ride itself, it's nearly done. I'll post pictures of my progress later on.

Trackwork is finalised and I'm now starting the .3ds. The supports and textures will be sorted out later.

That drop reminds me of the first drop on Hoosier Hurricane.
