So yeah, you BARELY missed Maverick's opening day!
well no. but the way we plan our trips, we go to around 1 themepark in the summer for fun. So if we just delayed the Ceder Point trip by a year and went to another park, I could have ridden Maverick. I know how it sounds... rediculous.
^Sorry, but...nobody really cares past the first twelve riders. But opening day, good job. Must've had long lines...
Not that this entirely pertains to the subject at hand, but this reminds me... I was browsing the Cedar Point website the other day comparing rider-capacity amounts on various coasters. I was very surprised to see this...
Top Thrill Dragster:
Capacity........Approximately 1,500 riders per hour
Maverick:
Capacity........Approximately 1,200 riders per hour
how can you hardly believe that? Look at the length of the trains first of all, then the rate of dispatch on TTD is pretty good in all fairness, for a dual loading station anyway. Then TTD is like 30 seconds long, whole ride. What is there not to believe?
Anyway, this video is a really good video for sure. But I fail to see how it adds anything about the ride that would make you change your mind from not really understanding why other people like it so much. There's nothing that we haven't all seen before in this video.
