Lewis! Please upload this ride! I loved the ones you sent and had me test. Just because CKid and Real have his opinions on your ride, you are forgeting one thing: IT'S YOUR RIDE! The top hat is unique in its own way! Let CKid downrate you for that then simply file a complaint against it or even ignore it all! Don't just stop all progress on this ride!
Oh, were you expecting something here?

Yeah, I agree. The coaster looks good, don't stop because of Ckid.

basically flickstah, what youre saying is that youre an antagonist. Why flame just to flame? Its the same as the kids who sit in the back of the bus, throwing spit wads at the kids in front who did nothing to you. Its only funny to you and those who think like you. Internet or not, thats lame.

and yes, thanks for adding "some". Because the way you came off guns blazin, i would believe you meant all. Infact, its comforting to know you confirmed my first thoughts by your reply.

lewis and flick - as i stated before, and lewis you did answer me, thank you, but why is it a problem if someone likes their rocket coasters to be realistic? I love seeing the extra time put into that. If someone doesnt, it wont nessicarily hurt but it wont gain you extra points. Which is the beauty here that i think youre missng Flick. The rating system accounts for everyone. Those who rate hard, those who rate easy. Dont flip when someone likes realism. Ckid didnt demand change. And he didnt deserve the attack. Imo.

one last thing to all. Just becausue someone disagrees with how you build your ride isnt a reason to flame them for their opinion. Each of us have unique styles for building and rating. Its unnacceptable to flip a lid because someone said "hey, the entrance to that corkscrew, its like B&M." just reply back saying youre not recreating the B&M style. End of story. Going on a rampage tells me the people who request the realism arent the ones with the so called "problems" its the ones who fervently feel the need to flame those people.

I dont recall anyone saying you must change it Lewis. Frankly, not everything DCs does is code to Intamin and he knows it as well as everyone. So keep it up. Take whatever criticism you get and build the next ride. Can i not see myself or someone else attacked because we like to see uber realism? The counter arguments are getting old.

whens this ride coming out?

You must have missed the part where he decided he isn't going to release the ride in a sympathy attempt and then Oscar wrote "Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww".
"Careful man, there's a beverage here!"

Thanks for explaining yourself, and I completely understand what you're saying. When I started this topic I knew that Ckidmwm was going to attack me, personally, and maybe, for the ride design. I also knew the my tophat was not completely realistic, and I was okay with that. I never argued about the realism thing, I was just upset at the way Ckidmwm told me I was cheating on the top-hat entrance. I just wanted to make myself clear that I wasn't attempting the normal-intamin tophat, and that I was doing something new, and to some, something unrealistic. I am aware that everyone is entitled to their own opinions, and I'm more than okay with that because I have mine too.

On the contrary, when an element isn't entirely realistic, yet still executed fairly well, why does it just automatically suck to some people? I think Dcs21 is an amazing designer because he too pushes limits on his designs, and he always finds ways to go out of the box with them. I will take all this criticism and use it for my future rides, and I'll definitely avoid these retarded wars in forums because frankly, they're just a waste of time.

Sync will be uploaded Sunday.

I can see where this "don't criticize anyone younger than high school and always let them pass" trend in the education system is very damaging on current generations. Sheesh.

Lewis, the thing with Dcs is that he pushes the designs to the limit, but always does his absolute best to say "If Intamin made this unique element, how would it be created?" and then designs as such. Normal hills, transitions and such he typically sticks to the Stengel design because I know he loves it. Stengel is responsible for pretty much every outstanding ride we know.

So thats kinda the difference I see. You can still be unique, original and creative but still stay within a particular "style". A style isnt one kind of loop or even one kind of element. IMO thats a false teaching that gets played out. A style I think is HOW the elements are designed, not nessicarily taking the same thing you see on say, Storm Runner and plugging it into another coaster. We know Stengel doesnt do that. But we have an idea how he designs the rides to ride.

Just some thoughts.

Hmmm. I can honestly say I lost every mildly remaining ounce of respect for Flickstah. Good christ, what a douche bag.

Flickstah; to your "being online, having no life" comment. I see you and Landon on AIM every time I sign on...I would re-think your strategies for trying to successfully bash and call someone out before you make yourself look like a giant, retarded, antagonizing person.

...which you did, without doubt.

Good thing he doesn't care about respect on a forum [lol].
I would say he'd be crushed, but I have this feeling he isn't.
We all had fun in this one, just, a little too much fun.

Edit:
We'll rethink our strategies next time huh heh.
Fail.

Nope!
So, my friend came up to me the other day and asked if I wanted a frozen banana, and I said no, but I want a normal banana later, so... yea.
