Pretty cool entrance.

The new colors work really well. It gives a lot of life to this area of the park.
Yum!
Carolina Cobra. It's taller than it looks...
You gotta love boomerangs.
What are they building!?
Right on cue...
It was a really nice day outside, not too hot. It was rather crowded for a wednesday. The park seems to be doing suprisingly well considering the economy we're in. Carolina Cobra was fun. It my first time on a boomerang so I was kind of excited. It was only about a 10 minute wait. The ride crew was extremely efficient you could imagine how easy it would be to turn a 10 minute wait into an almost 30 minute wait with just a handful of careless ride operaters. Especilly since you can only run one train. The new trains are extremely comfortable and the design of them is absoloute genius IMO. The shoulder harness is more like a seatbelt braced by a pair of handle bars. There was no head banging at all and they provided a really smooth ride. The only thing about Carolina Cobra is that it is very nauseating. I didnt think three inversions in a row would be that intense but it was. Still a fun ride though. All-in-all a good ride and a great addition to the park. Good job Carowinds.
While getting my season pass I couldn't help but ask the lady about what they could be bulding. She said it might be a hyper coaster. She told me not to quote her on it but she really didn't look like someone who would even know what a hyper coaster is. So this leads me to believe she may be right.
