That's quite a long launch.

It's a long launch because it needs to slow down too before hitting the helix, and it needs to pass the bleachers before it hits it, too.

So the launch would just for spectators to see, right?

It could be, or they could've just tore out part of the bleachers to make the launch shorter. [lol]

New video, really low quality but if this is going to be the final speed when exiting the brakes. Then it's going to be awesome:

1. Damn.
2. For sure the coolest sounding coaster I have ever heard.
So, my friend came up to me the other day and asked if I wanted a frozen banana, and I said no, but I want a normal banana later, so... yea.

I could see myslef as an Indy driver going down the track and seeing the coaster and being like "ooh, rollercoaster!" and causing like a 10 car crash. Haha.

lol

This is a very cool looking coaster. I do think it's a shame, though, that the brakes must be applied to heavily before the helix thing. Though, that must be going about 70-80 entering the turn.

It speeds up to over 200km/h, then slows down for a turn? That's a bit pointless!

It's done to give it a race experience. Any racecar has to slow down too for a turn.

And we got a graph, it's in German but i'll add some small translation:
Image

- S-Turns: 30km/u max
- High Speed launch to 217km/u
- Travel another 200m on that speed before slowing down to 110km/u
- 35m high Helix turn
- Enter the building with a speed of 85km/u
- Travel another 300m through the building before slowing down and entering the station.

I think it should be a really cool ride. Can't wait until it opens. Launching to 217km/u in a really short amount of time sounds really awesome [:)]

For those of you who watch the Formula 1, it's on today at the Nurburgring, you can see the coaster loads when the camera is on the pit straight.

I was watching it yesterday and noticed it. It looks so much taller when the cameras on the horizon, it really looks like such a cool coaster.
