I've ridden S&S flats, but not an S&S coaster I don't think, but it seems all they are good at is acceleration.

Tie between Intamin and B&M for me.

B&M is like the Bugatti Veyron of the coaster world, their engineering is amazing and beautiful at the same time.

Intamin build some massively imaginative coasters and (although real woodie fans will disagree) their pre-fab woodies are absolutely spectacular.

Powder keg is one of the worst rides i have ever been on. Its rough, uncomfortable, and boring.

My favorite manufacture is B and M oblviously. They are the best in my book. Compared to others, they have created more rides in a shorter amount of time and have had less rides scrapped or moved. Infact the only one i can recall ever being moved is the batman in New orlands and that was because of hurricane K. They seem to generate a high number of riders per hour, everyone loves them, they are forceful and fast, and last but not least the classic b and M "ROAR" on their rides. Granted they do lack in terms of innovation and going away from the "bounds" if you will. They seem to be affraid to build any ride above 230 feet and with their inverting rides they all seem the same. "Loop, dive loop, roll, cobra roll, double corkscrew". Still though i love them.

It is very hard, B&M have all the best designed coasters for example flying and diving, but intamin push the boundaries of extreme, i would like to see a 10 inversion B&M or a launched B&M (no hulk doesn't count). But gerstlauer build coasters with beauty and extreme so i think they win the cup for now...

My favorite designer is John A Miller...he was designing and building rides in the twenties, some of his designs for that time period are just amazing. Also, without him...no upstop wheels, no anti-rollback device, etc...he was very innovative.

In today's world, probably B&M...but I do love me a good Arrow headache!

Intamin all the way. Although I love B&M Inverts and Divers, Intamin is much more extreme yet as smooth- and I think that is what makes a good steel coaster. For woodies, I have to say GCI.

Uhm, their wood coasters are pretty well respected and highly rated. I personally know a few people who have ridden Thundercoaster at Tussenfryd and speak very highly of it. And it's Vekoma, not Venkoma.

Anyway, most of my favorite rides are CCI, so CCI it is.

INTAMIN, you gotta love yourself a good TTD KK MF SROS and Ex Gfrorce right?
B&M got nothing on Intamin except for the same rides over and over again. Though with B&M's track design and car design I don't think they can go much higher the 230ft. Intamin on the other hand......GAwd 3rail and 4rail track is just SEXY.

I hate almost every single Vekoma ride I've been on, ugh. Go CCI, Intamin and B&M!
