What would happen to your body and cells if a coaster launched you at 3000 MPH instantly?

You would die instantly, or every bone in your body would be broken, have bruised and likely torn organs, and internal bleeding, followed by death.

That's physically impossible anyways....why does it matter? You'd basically be disintegrated.

If it was genuinely "instantly", like you were at 0mph and then the next moment in plausible time you were travelling at 300mph, then yes, death would be on the cards. But you'd be surprised.

I forget the details entirely, I may, if I can be arsed tomorrow look for the information and videos but; a fair while ago, a man strapped himself to a rocket sled for the purposes of science. Said rocket sled accelerated from a standstill to well over 500mph in an extremely small amount of time and then hit a massive tank of water, decelerating back to 0mph in a similar time span. Needless to say that his internal injuries were fairly massive, but he survived nonetheless.

0-1018kmph (632mph) in less than 1 tenth of a second.

You would turn into a crazy Spartan and battle the Persians. Exactly.
So, my friend came up to me the other day and asked if I wanted a frozen banana, and I said no, but I want a normal banana later, so... yea.

^That's still quite a bit different than 0-3000 in a literal instant, though.

The launching mechanism would probably blow to pieces and fling metal everywhere for miles.

Im pretty sure the article on John Paul Stapp takes the cake. Thats RIDICULOUS! WHY?! For science? Thats a lousy reason to undergo that kind of torture! NUTS!

Once was enough. I mean the pressures he put on his body were astronomical. Im really amazed he didnt suffer long lasting optical damage considering how dangerous that is. Top Fuel Dragster drivers eventually tear their eyes to bits from the drastic G Forces and he did a whole lifetime of that in just one run on that sled.

Just imagine a drag racing car hitting you at 300 mph instantly and you stick to the car.

Thats what it would be like

Let's go for some random calculating. I took some old formula's from my old site.

Acc G force:
( V ????????? t ) ????????? G = Acc G's

3000mph = 4828km/u
4828km/u = 1341.11m/s
For time i'll use 1/10th of a second. Which looks like instant.
(1341.11 / 0.1) / 9.81 = 1367 G

If you'd ever want to launch someone to 3000mph, he'll endure 1367g for 0.1 seconds. I'm not sure how much the human body can take but I do know that around 100g in a really small amounth of time does give severe injuries.

Now let's do the same but then with 300mph. Maybe we get something more reasonable:

( V ????????? t ) ????????? G = Acc G's

300mph = 482.8km/u
482.8km/u = 134.11m/s
(134.11 / 0.1) / 9.81 = 136.7 G

That's already much more likely to survive. If the conditions are right.

Now since i'm calculating anyhow, let's see how long it would take to launch someone to 3000mph with a constant 5g on you're body:
( V ????????? t ) ????????? G = Acc G's
(1341.11 / x) / 9.81 = 5 G
5 * 9.81 = 49.05
1341.11 / x = 49.05
1341.11 / 49.05 = 27.34 sec

Conclusion out of this post:
- Lauching someone to 3000mph in 0.1 seconds, put's 1367g on someone's body.
- Lauching someone to 300mph in 0.1 seconds, put's 136.7g on someone's body.
- Launching someone to 300mph with a constant 5g would take only 2.73 seconds.
- Launching someone to 3000mph with a constant 5g would take 27.34 seconds.

^ you did the calculation for accelerating to 300mph with 5g force, not 3000. Launching to 300mph with 5g force would take 2.73 seconds.
