I finished an elaborate station and queue area and when I tried to import the .3ds file into Anim8or, it crashed. Anybody have a similar problem and have a solution? I would hate to have to go back and redo it. I only used one texture that wasn't default from sketchup (Goku1910's airgates).

my gates!? hehe, I'm popular!
But it's usually caused by a high-resolution texture or the model itself is too large. Try splitting it into multiple 3DS.
Also, that texture from me, is it the 2048x2048 version? If it is, try lowering the resolution to 1024x1024.
