I suppose everybody has the right to their opinions. My gut feeling is that Michael never did hurt a child. At first, I assumed he did. But there was something about the way he carried himself during the Bashir interviews that made me change my mind. No doubt the guy had some serious issues, but I don't believe pedophilia was one of them. That's just me though. It's a fact that Michael definitely opened himself up to these types of allegations by allowing children to stay at his house. Shame on him for being so naive. And I also have to say shame on the parents for allowing their kids to stay at a strange man's house unattended.

I really feel awful for his family. Just imagine what they are going through right now. Not only having to deal with the unexpected loss of their son, brother, father. But also having to deal with all of the other skeletons that have been drug out of Michael's closet once again. I hope the best for them.

Anyway, another song that I totally forgot about from my childhood. Most of you have probably never heard this song before. I can't say it's really a good song either, but you gotta admit this guy could sing.

If I was to gamble on the average age of the members on this website, I'd gamble it was below 16. You fall into that category. If you don't want me to know you're 14, don't make your age available to the public.

This is turning into what Anna Nicole Smith's death was like. I saw the news the day she died and I was like "ok? that sucks." I saw the news the day MJ died and I was like "ok? that sucks." Yet the media carries it on and on and on, finding controversies and drugs when no one really cares anymore.

Well...we do live in the U.S.. The land of "everything gets blown to extreme proportions or don't get noticed at all, and there is no middle option" I mean it happens all the time, with such events as (the list might piss people off); 9/11(even though that might deserve it because of the mass number of deaths but there are times where people bring it up when it really shouldn't), (as said before)Anna Nicole, everything dealing with Lindsey Lohan or Paris Hilton, the fact that the famous "Bradgalina" keep getting babies over and over again when it's obvious that they want more babies so mabye we should just stop pretending likes it surprises us and that it's real news, the whole thing with Brad and that blond chick (forgot her name, I don't care), and numerous child abuctions, rapes, drug busts, all things that probably shouldn't be publisized are dragged on for weeks on end. Point is that sometimes we should just bury the hatchet, as people have already mentioned, but it won't.

But see, I think things like this are entertainment. I mean people getting worked up, people getting mad because the event is dragged on or over-exaggerated. So I'm good, as long as I stay in the middle I'm safe. Even if I'm not safe...I just really don't care.

Everything even remotely related to that black box or panel you watch all boomerangs back to the multi-trillionaires in Beverly Hills (who will likely lose it all in two weeks on steroids alone). They are the lifeblood of a nation, and without them, America would die the slow, painful death of news that actually matters. Mr. King is acting like he knows for a fact that Michael molested children. The jury could not find enough evidence to support this, so they found him innocent. I honestly think the whole thing started with a few greedy parents who wanted to take advantage of the situation.

I think Michael was just a big kid who didn't want to grow up. After seeing that that TV special on Michael's home a few years ago, it was obvious that he just loved hanging out with kids, and he didn't see the harm in having sleepover parties with them. It makes sense that he would behave like this, since it was a chance for him to catch up to the childhood that he missed. ?????????There was nothing abnormal about it. Okay, I need to rant.

I was just watching the news, and I caught part of a report
on Michael Jackson . As we all know, Jackson died the other day. He was an
entertainer who performed for decades. He made millions, he spent millions,
and he did a lot of things that make him a villain to many
people. I understand that his death would affect a lot of
people, and I respect those people who mourn his death, but that isn't the
point of my rant.

Why is it that when ONE man dies, the whole of America loses
their minds with grief. When a man dies whose only contribution to the
country was to ENTERTAIN people, the American people find the need to flock
to a memorial in Hollywood , and even Congress sees the need to hold a
"moment of silence" for his passing?

Am I missing something here? ONE man dies, and all of a
sudden he's a freaking martyr because he entertained us for a few decades?
What about all those SOLDIERS who have died to give us freedom? All those
Soldiers who, knowing that they would be asked to fight in a war, still
raised their hands and swore to defend the Constitution and the United
States of America . Where is their moment of silence? Where are the people
flocking to their graves or memorials and mourning over them because they
made the ultimate sacrifice? Why is it when a Soldier dies, there are more
people saying "good riddance," and "thank
God for IEDs?" When did this country become so calloused to
the sacrifice of GOOD MEN and WOMEN, that they can arbitrarily blow off
their deaths, and instead, throw themselves into mourning for a "Pop Icon?"

I think that if they are going to hold a moment of silence
IN CONGRESS for Michael Jackson, they need to hold a moment of silence for
every service member killed in Iraq and Afghanistan . They need to PUBLICLY
recognize every life that has been lost so that the American people can live
their callous little lives in the luxury and freedom that WE,
those that are living and those that have gone on, have
provided for them. But, wait, that would take too much time, because there
have been so many willing to make that sacrifice. After all, we will never
make millions of dollars. We will never star in movies, or write hit
songs that the world will listen too. We only shed our
blood, sweat and tears so that people can enjoy what they have.

Sorry if I have offended, but I needed to say it. Feel free

who is serving in the military; "So that others may live..."

So all he did was entertain? Wow that soldier really didn't know Michael Jackson at all. I guess the millions of dollars he gave away to charities doesn't matter anymore. The millions he gave to children hospitals, hospitals that saved children lives doesn't matter as well. It also doesn't matter that in his will he gave 20% of his fortune to charity. Let's forget all that, he's just an entertainer who entertained us for decades. Send me a link to where he made the post so I can inform him of Michael Jackson's many contributions. While he was just one man, the help he provided back to society is that of thousand of men.
