Yeah it did look impresive seeing it beside the track, would of been better seeing it running though.

This Coaster is senseless.
The only Goal is the speed of 217 km/h and the it will be slowed down to only 100 km/h to lead back to the station.

Why don't they use the speed for a little more fun?

As already said in an earlier, the idea behind the coaster is to give race experience, so just like a real car it has to slow down before a turn.

i would prefer high speed 217km/ph launch and than a brake over a launch of 110km/ph without the brakes.

when they say "ring racer" it sounds so strange because it's realy strained, and i don't understand most of it but hering geschbant das wurt einen nurburgring dassen ein und sebastien ist du competitior, it's like "right, i understood sebastien. that's it." no doubt hat i just wrote a load of tosh in german but who cares, it makes sense to me in that haring the names of the drivers and michael speak in german is all weird to me XD

Too bad the video doesn't show more then just a lot of talking and the take off. I would have loved to see the braking and the entering of the helix. And of course: There reaction of the ride!

I'd choose TTD and KK over this, but Ring Racer would be a cool ride to experience.

Very cool video! Can't wait to see a clip of the coaster at full speed!

That acceleration takes almost only half the time of TTD, with another 15 MPH

Am I seeing an unbanked S-curve taken at full speed? Ouch.

Well here is pleasant news about the opening...

The ride was scheduled to open on the 15th of this month, but did not, because of a pneumatic launch FAILURE.

It now has a TBA opening, obviously until they fix the problem...

If I was to travel all the way up there to ride this thing, I won't now. I mean think about it...if you fail a launch attempt, and burst the fluid valve that holds the fluid that is required to launch the train, and you're launching a train over 130mph..., what if it happened later on in operation again!

A crazy experiment of a ride that has already gone wrong...lol, no thanks, i'll pass on it.

it's not fluid, it's air, a gas.

this is no 'experiment' of a coaster. There has been other compressed air launch coasters built before, just not quite this fast. I trust that S&S know what they are doing.

Air is a fluid, smart guy. Air is not a liquid, which is what you mean.
