Every now and then, when I test a ride (on the new puter), NL opens up like this...?

My NL does that too. It happened alot when i had my bad mouse, i would click alot and nothing would happend, then i would wait a few seconds and the mouse would select 3 and 4 times when i only clicked once!
But that only happens when you open multiple instances of the simulator on top of each other. The first one opens in the standard settings, but the second window sees the first, and reverts back to default. When you close the second, the screen resolution has changed, and the stats bar has moved...i dont know if that made sense, my whole day has been a brain fart. [:p]

That happens to me when I double click on the simulator in the editor and it opens up two simulators. Only click once. Though if you are clicking once, I can't help you there.

Mine goes like that if i leave the comp, and the screensaver goes on[then locks] and when i unlock it it opens up like that.

I'm pretty sure I've been clicking once, it may be the mouse pad thing on the laptop, if I was resting my hand on it when I click the button, it may be that it recognises it as a double click. BUT, there is no other NL sim open, only one opens.

How it happens is: I click to ride the coaster in sim, then it comes to the loading screen, only that only half of the loading screen is visible, the other half is off the side of the screen. When it then loads, it's in 800x600 resolution and all the settings are back to default, but once I click with the mouse or press a button on the keyboard it simply reverts to looking like the picture I posted in the first post. This is my NL settings, only the info bar obviously still believes itself to be in 800x600 mode.

This happens maybe once in every ten times I open the sim from the editor.

It sounds very similar to what has been said above, only no second sim is open... oh well, doesn't really matter, it's just slightly annoying

Looks like it's gonna be something I'm just gonna have to put up with! heh. I noticed that it fudges up my FPS too.

Ok, my problems with NL on my new laptop have now severely worsened.

That problem in the topic posted above has now worsened to the stage that I can't really use NL properly, the problem with the 3D view now affects all views in the editor and it's now pretty much unbearable.

The problem in this topic continues as before, starting to quite annoy me.

New problem: When I now try to take screenshots in the editor or, more importantly, in the simulator, I simply get a picture of my desktop. And while Kristen Kruek is extremely nice to look at, she doesn't really help when I'm trying to ask for some advice on supports.

It works fine with me on Vista. The problem is the programming is not made to work with Vista so blame the programmar [devilish]
