Dollywood or Six Flags Over Georgia

I am visiting my father in Georgia until the 29th, and he said that he would take me to one park that is relatively nearby.

My question is which park should I consider?

If you do reply, can you please offer a description?

I've never been to Dollywood, but if you are a fan of Coasters, I would definitely recommend Six Flags Over Georgia.

Wow, that's a really hard choice. I visited both parks within 2 days of each other last week.

I would choose Dollywood though, quality over quantity. Thunderhead and Tennessee Tornado are really amazing, and the rest of the park is great too. All SFOG really has is Goliath and Mindbender...the rest of the rides are mediocre. Mystery Mine and Blazin Fury are way better than anything else at SFOG, and DW is just so unique.

Eh. That's a hard one. I've been to neither, but looking from your point of view I would still probably pick Dollywood. Mystery Mine, Thunderhead, Tornado, Blazing Fury I guess; they all look just amazing in one way or more.

SFOG really only has two woodies and both are older classics. Which still would be amazing in themselves, but wouldn't compare to Thunderhead. SFOG obviously has Goliath, Batman, Superman, and I guess Ninja and Mindbender can be included in the steels.

Even with SFOG's heading in steel coasters I still think Dollywood would be a more thoroughly impressive experience.

Go with Dollywood, seriously. Tornado and Thunderhead would be enough for me to chose, personally, but IDK! It only depends on what you alone prefer.

As much as I love Mindbender, Goliath, GA Cyclone, and Acrophobia, I would choose Dollywood for its atmosphere, three awesome coasters (I guess Blazing Fury is ok, too), and most importantly, Mountain Slidewinder!

Never been to SFOG, but Dollywood's coasters kick ass- Thunderhead is best woodie in the world imo
