which band do you hate the most

I f*cking hate coldplay so much. And my sis loves them and she's probably going to be blasting it in her ears on the way to hershey [xx(] I heard that too much exposure to Coldplay converts you to homosexual if your straight or bi but she's been listening to them of the longest time and I could tell by cleaning out her history file that she's no lesbian

I hate you, fraroc. I bet you just LOVE listening to crap that minorities listen to. What do you hate about Coldplay? The fact that each album they release is way better than their last? Or how about the fact that Coldplay is great driving music? I mean for crying out loud! There is almost nothing wrong with Coldplay. I think you should sit down and listen to either Rush of Blood to the Head or X & Y all the way through before making a statement like that. You didn't even tell us why you hate Coldplay!

Speaking of which. I hate anything rap/hip-hop. I can't stand listening to some black guy talk about his bitches and hoes, money, and other explecit things through the use of calling them "children's items". I can't stand that there is little depth to it. I can't stand how all beats are made by a freaking machine and how there is always a worse song out just as soon as you think it can't be any worse!

Because all Rap and Hip-Hop is based on that.......

The only type of music I really dont care for is the heavy metal rock bands. Just not my cup of tea.

If you like Coldplay, then you should thank the Beatles becuase almost every Coldplay song can be tracked back to a Beatles chord progression...not saying they ripped em off because they did not, just borrowed the chord progressions.

Most Hip Hop beats are not created by a machine, they are created by a human being operating a machine, big difference there.

90+% of all music recorded today, is so edited and modified by technology that the difference from a rap group and a rock band in terms of live tracks is very minimal. Most modern drums are sound replaced or completely made from scratch, that's right, not played by a drummer. Most of the talentless hacks in the music business today, would of had no chance of success even 10 years ago.

i dont listen to cldplay , they dont appeal to me, but if brian eno cared enough fpr them tpo produce one of their records i gotta assume that their music is well recorded and produced.. cant say i like it much ..
but the band i hate the most? i dont know.. it's a toss up between styx, tool, queenschryche, rush and a bunch of other stuff..

Rush would be ok without the singer's voice...but it's so squeaky and annoying. The band I hate most out of all well-known bands is probably Journey though. All of their songs could be played by a garage band easily...they're simple. Not to mention how annoying Steve Perry is.

First, Sum 41 is not punk rock. A radio friendly, watered down version perhaps. There isn't one genre of music that I can't find someone I like. I think people should be more open minded musically. Personally, I don't like Coldplay but I am gay so that had nothing to do with it. Coldplay doesn't make you gay. Lady Gaga does. I don't like her either but I'm in the minority of gay guys that don't like her. I'll listen to anything from Neil Diamond to Nine Inch Nails and all in between. My least favorite band of all time would have to be The Smashing Pumpkins. I've nearly beat the crap out of Billy Corgan on more than one occasion due to his enormous ego and sense of self worth and their allegedly original sound was ripped off from other Chicago area bands that didn't have the stroke of luck that they had.

^yes, but steve albini is still about the best producer in america, regardless of strokes of luck, which makes big black way more important than smashing pumkins .. and dammit i should have remembered phish they trump even my other choices ..

I agree with you on the rap thing to a point. I feel that all new rap is complete poop. I can't stand that no talent bastard soouja boy or what ever his face is. However older gangster rap i do like. Guys like eazy-e or nwa i listen to.

I agree with Dj-Dj,punk rock is so annoying and unlistenable. But I hate anything related to disney the most. They always suck and are talentless wannabes.
