Opening it with Windows Movie Maker wont solve the problem if you dont have the correct video codec's installed. You compressed the video into a DivX or Xvid format, which your computer dosent have installed. Windows Movie Maker or Windows Media Player or any other player cant read the file unless the correct codecs are present. The reason the file is so large is becuase NL records with no compression method, thus producing large files. Xvid and DivX just makes these files smaller. Just take the original source file and convert it to .FLV format. Then after you upload it, the video wont take as long to 'process'...thats what YouTube calls converting video files into .FLV so they can be played in your web browser.
