it interacts with the buildings so well. Too bad they just can't use the path that was used 10 years ago... if its true that they are getting rid of it for a new path..

Aww... I understand that it may not have been the best coaster anymore but there's so much history there! It was both of my sons first coaster. (I see it was a lot of people's first) I never got a chance to ride it, I was always the one waiting with the child that didn't want to ride while my husband rode with the other two. So sad...

Going to Busch for 2 days the first week of August. Good thing, always wanted to go there, especially after hearing the bad news.

Oh well....it wasn't as good as people make it out to be imo. Kings Islands suspended is a lot more fun.

They'll all forget about it when they announce the next B&M whatever to go into the park. Hopefully it won't make the place look horrible like Griffon did.

Actually this was a by product of talking to good friends (none from TPR) and messing around with BBW's site in the future.

I'm praying that it's not a flyer. From the space where drachen fire once was, plus this now empty space, we could have a pretty kickass coaster.
Just keep scrolling...

This is pretty sad for me. BBW was my very first (sort of) mega coaster that I went on when I was about four or five years old. I am going to try to get a ride on it before it retires.

I loved that ride but I kinda liked iron dragon at cedar point better.

OK samuslink, 2 things. 1) please don't double post. I know it gets your post cout up faster, but it really clutters up the boards. Second, what do you like so much about Iron Dragon? I've never been on BBW, but Flight Deck at KI kicks Iron Dragon's butt!

Although, it really is sad that the suspended coaster concept died so fast. I think there is a lot of potential in those rides, and I think an option for them in NL could really bring it out.

I never had a chance to ride BBW, but removing a good ride like that, when cedar point can't even tear down mean streak just doesn't make sense. Why remove a popular ride that draws people to your park for a new path, is just dumb. Where are peoples heads at these days when making important decisions, hope this don't come back to byte them in the $%@ !!!
