One of the simplest color schemes too. Blue and white. I thought about stealing it for this since Im not sure Ill want to complete that ride.

I dont know if I want black supports. Thatll be a very "dreary" color scheme. I want something brighter. Most parks that dont theme a ride have bold color schemes. That way it sticks out. So support color is up in the air.

^ What ever you do, don't use white (or brown tan) for the supports. God knows we've seen enough of that colour scheme to last us a life time. lol

I have been a fan of the dark red and gold (like DB's lift hill and Kd's new coaster) so once you supports it you could give that a try. I usually don't decided a color scheme until the ride is fully supported anyways, and I'm sure you do the same.

So, my friend came up to me the other day and asked if I wanted a frozen banana, and I said no, but I want a normal banana later, so... yea.

Theres your first in-game shot - Lims to bring the train down from speed smoothly and quickly. They did look very realistic because the spine of the track was raised but once I told NL to hide the brakes and the lims it lower the track so now its kinda wedged in there. Still looks cool and I actually have that segment set for that so it works.

Looks really nice. How hard is it to make the stripe?

Well, first you export the spine. Import into max, make sure sizes all stay the same.
Then create a texture for the side and top/bottom. Only 1 needed for each in this case.
Once thats done, you gotta go into max, highlight the whole thing, apply texture for top and bottom. Apply correct uvw map (face). Convert to mesh to set the uvw map. Now highlight every other triangle on the sides because the default mapping directiob for each will be opposite. Thats the most tedious part. Do that times 2 for each spine piece. Its rather easy, just takes time. Maybe tonight ill record a video of how i do it.

using the Face UVW Map means it aligns the texture to the face which means itll auto adjust for the spine getting larger or smaller, always connecting and aligning.

Hmmm... sounds a bit complicated. Isn't max pretty expensive though?

Environment editor lets you do nothing like what Im doing. You cant touch the spines textures.

You can also get student versions from teachers a lot of times as well.

How about a dark purpley-blueish color.

Btw, i want to let yall know i wont be showing much of the layout. Ive given the element order out but id like some of it to remain a mystery. Ive akways been extra transparent with my updates but this way there might be some suprise. Ill show plenty of little details and things you might otherwise overlook while riding butdont expect any full layout shots or even enough track shots to piece together the layout.

Supports will most likely be a shade of yellow or gold. I kinda hate purple tones for coasters unless done just right. Dark blues are great, but once you start to add red into the blue im out.

Thanks to my sister, came up with the most amazing kick-arse theme that would be perfect for a ride like this. This is gonna rock now that I can totally envision the rest of the surrounding area.

Cant wait to get working on this. When I do, lots of screens of the cool stuff going in and around the ride.
