***Pics below if you want to skip story time

Ok, here's the story of how the idea came to be. I was in whistler a week ago and f\/cked my teeth up real bad. so I went to the dentist and he said to lay low for at least a month to make sure that everything is healing properly. So, besides having friends come over to see my hell-raising mouth, I have every day to do my EC high school course online(which takes about an hour), watching movies, and doing stuff on my computer. I remembered someone saying on their track description (It was for a contest, and mention if it was you who said it) that having camelbacks going up a hill and down a hill *if done correctly* can make the ride seem a lot longer and more thrilling. That phrase is where I got most of my inspiration, so without more boring crap here is the construction thread:

Name: Silva Incendia (Forest Fire in latin)
Type: Intamin mega
Lift: Cable-lift
Trains: 7-8 cars per train, 3-4 trains
Fun: YES

Method of Building: All Hand

Here is the first teaser pic:

Looks good so far. Try taking a shot of the entire layout in the editor so I can see what the shaping looks like. Other than that it is looking good.

Update: 8-6-2009

I decided that Silva Incendia will be the name for the project. Here are the new colors:

I am only using prefabs for the color testing. All supports on the final version will be custom.

Feel free to leave comments, questions, or suggestions. Every little bit helps [:D]

I would not use either of those colors. They are not appealing.

Silver (from the name) , and red or orange for supports. (for incendia) sounds like something flammable.

Yeah that does sound nice except. You should have a different shade of orange for the track with silver supports.

Yeah, green and brown gives it that...barfing and then pooping look...not working...

Go for Green and light silver supports,
"Don't be a disability"... yep, still keeping that. :P

I got the name "Silva Incendia" from an online translator so I am not sure if it is correct, but it means Forest Fire. Thanks for the suggestions, I will have pics of the colors later today :)

I think a brighter orange would look better for the track.

Use the orange and silver it looks better. The black supports will distract from the overall ride.
