How can i lower the vert g's in a high speed turn? its coming out of a hill, much like Maverick or Piraten, and the lat's are fine. What causes the high verts? how can i fix them?
^the message is up there^

Make the radius of the turn larger. AKA, the width of the turn needs to be larger. Youre carrying too much speed for the radius of the turn.

So either make the radius larger to accomodate the speed, or, slow it down.

Or bank less and you'll get higher lats instead of higher verts.

Personally, I'd rather get high verts than high lats, but that's just me.

It's 100% true though Anthony...the force vector will change from positive to lateral. The forces won't be any less, they'll just occur in a different direction. The question was how to get verts to go down, and that's one perfectly valid solution.

I knew it was a legit way to reduce the Verts. But, once you go to the other direction in negatives, arent those high negatives? ;)

^Can a negative really be "high", seeing as it's a LOW number?

Shouldn't we be saying "Those were some painfully low negatives!" [:)]

Magnitude doesn't include direction, which is why they can be referred to as high.
