I decided to take a little break from California Screamin', decided to recreate the Intimidator 305, the new coaster for Kings Dominion. The ride let me down a bit after looking over the layout, but I felt like recreating it. I'm up to the drop right now, and it currently isn't final. I would appreciate a few testers.

Are you going to 3ds the track? or at least for the lift?

I think the top of your drop is too wide...the radius at the top isn't that big, but gets much larger as it drops.

I'll gladly test for you.

I would like to point something out though. The lift crest should be a little tighter. Just look at this picture.

Yeah, that's all I have to say about that.

Ahem, im always open,=D
But the drop isnt straight down, its only going 85 degrees for about 25-35 feet, so you might want to branch out the drop just a bit more.

Gonna need your emails too.

how are you planning to make it look like it will in real life? It's not as if NL had "Intamin Double Weird Massive Spine With Enormous Lift Hill Trust Structure" as a track style option [lol].

So for this to be a decent recreation, you'll have to make it all two rail track and do some serious 3D work

You can very easily make the spine in SketchUp if you wanted, and it'll look better than NL supports.

^ If I had sketchup I'd ask you how [lol]

I've worked on the track and I'm up to the air hill. an environment and a cartexture were also made.

hard to tell since that angle isn't on the I305 website, but the first turn might need to be a tad smaller. Good luck on the recreation! I was hoping somebody would make one.

Also, don't forget that the supports aren't tubes.........they're square[;)]
Sometimes you gotta sacrifice a little bit of yourself to get the job done.

I wouldn't recreate a ride that hasn't been built yet. You don't know what they're going to do to the final product, or what the forces feel like ect. I especially wouldn't try to recreate a ride I haven't been on, because, like I said, you don't know what each section feels like, or how fast it's taken.

Updatez.

I perfected the drop the turn and the air hill, and I'm onto beyond that. I'm going to need testers standing by :P.
